In this hour Heather Brent was at a Basketball camp for kids. Mickey the Baboon was in studio before heading to the El Dorado County Fair starting today through Sunday. Marianne talked with 2 authors who wrote a Tell all Book about how they caught the Unabomber. Mark and Ken talked with Ice Cube about 22 Jump Street.

8am:
In this hour Amy was at Halo Salon checking out Guys buns... err Guys with Buns. Marianne introduced Sac Sings as this choir performed 2 songs on the Good Day Stage. Sean was in Woodland as one Principle got a surprise flashmob from the students and teachers. Melissa was with Frugal Adventures learning how to make your own Crayons and bubbles. Heather was back this hour learning soccer from Andy Garcia, No not him this one is part of an 8 on 8 league in Sacramento. With the World Cup starting today people in China are buying sick notes to watch. So today's #9amtopic was I'd buy a sick note for___

9am:
This could be called the DIY Hour. With 3 segments of DIY from Melissa with Frugal Adventures, Kathy Fang from Fang Restaurant making food in mason jars for picnics and parties and of course Gina from Thrift Town showing off yet another GREAT idea. Mark had more infotainment with him talking about 22 Jump Street. Ken's Manly Minute was keeping up the theme of fathers this week. Amy was checking out more buns for hair on guys while Mark and Julissa took us through the hour and the #9amtopic. Tina's final questions was How to make yourself feel better when not feeling well.

Hey Mickey:
Wild About Monkeys show returns to the El Dorado County Fair this weekend. So today on Good Day Kevin and his friend Mickey appeared in studio. We met Mickey a few years ago when he and Cody shared the Mega Chair on the Good Day Set. This is show is a pretty good show that will have your kids laughing for hours.


Heather:
How GREAT was it to see the lovely and talented Heather Brent back on Good Day. Heather a one time intern for Good Day can normally be seen on the weekend during Mark at the Movies graced us with her presence today first going to a Basketball Camp and then a local soccer team that plays 8 on 8. If you loved seeing Heather today then make sure you check her out all weekend long on Mark at the Movies as she sits down with Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill talking about 22 Jump Street opening Friday.


Gina DIY:
Today on Good Day Sacramento we saw a lot of DIY. The first from Charlene from Frugal Adventures showing how to make your own crayons, bubbles and more with Melissa. A fun activity for kids while out of school.

Then Tina introduced us to Kathy Fang from Fang Restaurant in San Francisco. Kathy showed us how to take a Mason Jar and make it a salad for picnics, parties and more.

Of course no Thursday is complete without Gina from Thrift Town making a reusable bag out of a Tank Top which are now on sale at Thrift Town so you can make the bag.


Guys Buns:
Amy was back and she found herself in a salon checking out guys buns. No not those ones in their hair made popular by Jared Leto and other actors. Although I am pretty sure she was checking out other "Buns" as well. Good to see her back.


Infotainment:
Mark had a ton of Infotainment news that included a desperate plea from Robin Thicke to get his wife back. But also 2 good movies coming out tomorrow in How To Train Your Dragon 2 and 22 Jump Street which I think could take the top spot in theaters this weekend.


LaToya:
One of my favorite people in the world has always been LaToya Jackson. Though I love Janet. I have always been a fan of LaToya. Well today she talked with Ken and Mark about her show on Own Network however did not she did not talk about Michael or family at all.

Funnel Cake Cloud:
Today on Good Day Melissa was in Rocklin checking out a new store that sells nothing but Funnel Cake. They even offer Funnel Cake with bacon and Ice Cream. I don't know if I have ever had Funnel Cake. I think I would remember if I did.

Good Day Nutshell:

Today on Marianne's Daily List she talked about 3 compliments Men hate to hear. I wish someone would tell me I am cute. But I agree with the list for sure.

Daily Joe:
I think Hello Kitty is cool and my Best Friend loves it but in today's Daily Joe one woman is INSANE! She has over 10,000 in her collection and wonders why she can't get a man to stay. I don't know because Hello Kitty has taken over your small apartment and no one has a place to sit down? That could be it.

Flash Mob:
Sean was in Woodland today as one school surprised their Principle with a Flash Mob to honor him. This was very well done by staff and kids.

Unabomber:
A new book has been released from 2 FBI agents that helped capture the Unabomber. This tell all book is available on Amazon and the 2 men will be signing at select Barnes and Nobles. This was very terrifying when he was on the run and active as a terrorist.

Choir:
A local choir who will be performing at Sac Sings at Folsom College performed 2 songs on the Good Day stage.

Manly:
Today keeping with the father edition of Ken's Manly Minute on Good Day Sacramento he talked about 5 quotes for fatherhood. This is something I did not get from mine but I know from friends who did get these and for that I am grateful.
