Opening Statement:
Welcome to June 1st. May flew by. I want to take this time to send out my congratulations to Eric Shackelford. If you are a long time viewer of Good Day Sacramento you might remember Eric was a producer on the weekend and then the 5am Producer that is now held by Tessa on the weekdays. Eric was married Saturday and returned home to Sacramento to celebrate the day with friends, and family including Good Day's own Cody Stark and Kevin Hernandez who attended the Wedding and reception after. Eric was a very good friend to me helping me learn things that I still carry with me today. Eric is also the producer who put me into the 5am Club Hall of Fame. They don't do that much anymore and I don't really know what that means but I appreciate it and I appreciate Eric as well. To Eric and his Bride... May you both live forever with each other by your side in good health and happiness.

Makeup artist Love Lash was in studio giving one model the Maleficent makeup makeover. Melissa covered a High School Kickback at Lincoln High School. She went to school with a mother of one of the students and now Melissa made the Lincoln High School Yearbook so today she signed the yearbook and caught up with her old friends. In the first installment of Nina Does Napa Nina learned to Paddle Board. It is Sunday so that means Eleanor was giving us the gossip including Erin Andrews being fired from Dancing With the Stars after 1 season. Now we need Eleanor to become host. Today throughout the show Nina went all over Napa showing us different sites, restaurants ,and of course shoes. The first part of the Nina Does Napa Tour took us on a Paddle Boat Ride along the Napa River. After she got off the boat she had to check out the incredible pastries including the awesome muffins at Model Bakery. Once she had some breakfast in her system she had to go shopping for shoes so what better place to go that Foot Candy Shoes to find out what the stars love to buy the shoes Nina needed to buy. After shoe shopping Nina was hungry so she checked out Goose and Gander in St. Helena where Ashton Kutcher hangs out.

Today on Ask Eleanor she got calls and emails from fans thanking her for not talking about "the wedding" I echo those thank you. Eleanor also talked about Casey Kasem and his wife due in court. She also talked about Erin Andrews being fired from Dancing With The Stars. Cody and I think Eleanor should become host of the show. #DanceWithEleanor

Behind the Good Day Sacramento Curtain:
Today Cambi gave a rare behind the scenes look at Good Day Sacramento. I don't know about any other viewers but I was glued to these 3 segments. I loved learning and seeing all that goes on. I still want to see what takes place in a planning meeting to show viewers just how awesome this show is and it's not all about the hours it's on TV. I think my favorite was the control room with Kristine, Brandon, Marc, Sam, and Tim.

Today edition of Dishin With Tina was A&K BBQ. Located in Sacramento on Stockton Blvd. this place is so amazing it is a MUST go to fill your BBQ needs and try the fried corn.
Good Day did a lot of other things today such as bringing in the Plant Lady, Hot Yoga, Melissa in a yearbook and of course Mama Bootcamp. So all in all in was a great show and a fun one to watch. The BREAKING news sometimes stories have to take a backseat but I always try to give information on them and today we had 2 that did not get covered...

In this hour leading off was While you were at work - best of the week. Colin Furze joined via Skype to talk about his newest creation Pyro Hands. Makeup artist Love Lash was in studio giving one model the Maleficent makeup makeover. Melissa covered a High School Kickback at Lincoln High School. She went to school with a mother of one of the students and now Melissa made the Lincoln High School Yearbook so today she signed the yearbook and caught up with her old friends. In the first installment of Nina Does Napa Nina learned to Paddle Board. It is Sunday so that means Eleanor was giving us the gossip including Erin Andrews being fired from Dancing With the Stars after 1 season. Now we need Eleanor to become host. Today throughout the show Nina went all over Napa showing us different sites, restaurants ,and of course shoes. The first part of the Nina Does Napa Tour took us on a Paddle Boat Ride along the Napa River. After she got off the boat she had to check out the incredible pastries including the awesome muffins at Model Bakery. Once she had some breakfast in her system she had to go shopping for shoes so what better place to go that Foot Candy Shoes to find out what the stars love to buy the shoes Nina needed to buy. After shoe shopping Nina was hungry so she checked out Goose and Gander in St. Helena where Ashton Kutcher hangs out.
Ask Eleanor:
Today on Ask Eleanor she got calls and emails from fans thanking her for not talking about "the wedding" I echo those thank you. Eleanor also talked about Casey Kasem and his wife due in court. She also talked about Erin Andrews being fired from Dancing With The Stars. Cody and I think Eleanor should become host of the show. #DanceWithEleanor
Pyromania:
Today Colin Furze was back via Skype. Today he showed off his Pyro-Hands. Yes they are cool to look at but DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS AT HOME! Colin is a professional and uses caution when he does it. You can see Colin tonight at 11pm on CW31 on Mark at the Movies as he talks X-Men Days of Future Past.

A sad story today that we the people of Good Day Sacramento can make it happy. Brandy an old friend of Lori's is a video blogger who chronicles her triumph through her battle with cancer. Behind the Good Day Sacramento Curtain:
Today Cambi gave a rare behind the scenes look at Good Day Sacramento. I don't know about any other viewers but I was glued to these 3 segments. I loved learning and seeing all that goes on. I still want to see what takes place in a planning meeting to show viewers just how awesome this show is and it's not all about the hours it's on TV. I think my favorite was the control room with Kristine, Brandon, Marc, Sam, and Tim.
Dishin With Tina:
Today edition of Dishin With Tina was A&K BBQ. Located in Sacramento on Stockton Blvd. this place is so amazing it is a MUST go to fill your BBQ needs and try the fried corn.
Good Day did a lot of other things today such as bringing in the Plant Lady, Hot Yoga, Melissa in a yearbook and of course Mama Bootcamp. So all in all in was a great show and a fun one to watch. The BREAKING news sometimes stories have to take a backseat but I always try to give information on them and today we had 2 that did not get covered...
