Opening Statement:
Before getting to my Official Opening Statement for today I have some BREAKING NEWS to report.....

I am so proud of the Good Day Sacramento Art Department. Saturday Night Don Smith Mike Mechanick and Mike Wiebe all won News Emmys. This little Cartoon was also a winner. Happy Fathers Day to all. If you are not aware my father was not in my life much and when I started to get to know him he had a medical issue that took him. My Stepfather past away only 8 years in so I never really had one to celebrate Fathers Day with. But rather be a Debbie Downer I am going to honor 5 fathers that mean something to me.

5. Sean Bennett. Sean a reporter for Good Day Sacramento married to Melissa is the father of 2. Sean loves sports and especially the SF Giants and 49'ers. 

4. Ken Rudulph. Ken is the Weekday Co-Host with Marianne on Good Day Weekend. Ken has been is several feature films including SWAT which stars Colin Farrell. Ken the father of 1 enjoys Horse Racing, Football and Baseball. Ken is a graduate of Rancho Cordova HS Home of the Lancers. 

The Next 3 are my brothers in arms.

3. Mark S. Allen: I met Mark many years ago when he along with Tina, and Courtney all did a morning Radio Show on FM 102.5. Mark now a featured reporter for Good Day Sacramento is once again a radio show host for Now 100.5 afternoons from 3-6PM. Mark also is the entertainment guru and is an accredited Movie Critic with his own Movie Show, Mark at the Movies that can be seen on Arm Forces Network, ReelzChannel at 11/8AM Saturdays and on CW31 Saturdays at 430am and Sundays at 11PM. Mark has won 3 Emmy awards for the movie show and is the father of 3. Mark enjoys Star Wars very much. 

2. Cody Stark. Cody is married to his wife Carol and knew right away that she would be Mrs. Stark. Cody is the father of Colin and Chelsea. Cody attended Auburn U and is a true #WAREAGLE fan. Cody loves Sci-Fi including Doctor Who and Space. Cody once worked as a Jungle Cruise Skipper at Disneyworld. I first met Cody at the beginning of the GI Joe Rise of Cobra Movie. Knowing I was a collector of the toy Good Day contacted me to talk about the movie on the weekend show. At the time I was 500 lbs and Cody and Ashley Williams both along with me thought I would not make it. However one thing Cody did was stick by me as I got my Gastric Bypass Surgery later that year. Cody is and always will be my brother from the South. I will always be there for he and his family like Cody is here for me. I owe Cody so much for all he has done for me and continues to do for me. You can see Cody as the weatherman who knows more about TV than most of the people in TV weekdays on Good Day and is the Co-host along with Amy on the weekend. 

1. My Real Life Brother. The one I have always known. The one who would yell at me if I was not listening. The one who taught me how to play baseball, football and ice hockey. The one who got a better matchbox car than me and would always win in our Matchbox Hot Wheels Track Racing. The one who I built snow forts with and threw snowballs at. The one who broke my tooth playing tackle football in the street and then said don't tell mom. He has one daughter who just completed her first year of college at Oregon State U with a Bio Chemist / Nursing Major. He has been with the fire service for nearly 30 years as he will retire in late 2015 on his 30th Anniversary. His wife is a writer who does a remarkable job describing their trips as if you are there. (NOT PICTURED)

Happy Fathers Day to all of you and to all the dads around the world. To quote Cody this is "My Day" Yes it is so enjoy and do whatever you feel like because today is your day.

It's Fathers Day so today Show us yours was Fathers. and the #GDSJustCurious Topic was Favorite Memory of your dad. Cambi was at Fox and Goose seeing what customers had for their Fathers Day Brunch. Melissa was in her Alter Ego as she dressed up as a Super Hero for the 5K run. Heather was a Beauty Queen well she was with Miss California in San Joaquin County. Eleanor was back in her normal time slot with the Gossip. Jennifer Aniston has a 2250 square foot closet. WHAT? That's not a closet it's house for your clothes.

8am:
This hour is Dishin Hour so today Tina was Dishin at Krush Burger in Sacramento. Today is also National Tire Day so Cambi went to OK Tire to learn how to change them. Heather was at a Stockton Car Show where you can win incredible prizes including a NEW Corvette. Melissa was playing FREE Golf for Dads at Scandia Family Fun Center and Chance the Second Needs Bull Dog was in studio looking as cute as ever.

9am:
Dad's love BBQ so today Cambi want to check out Momo's Meat Market Heather was checking out a Stockton Consignment Sale where items are 50-75% off. Melissa was getting a full fast packed workout in at 9 Rounds. Gentlemens Music performed on the Good Day Stage. Troy from Toy Emporium was in studio showing off cool new toys. 10am:
In this final hour of the show Cambi was cutting hair at Lucky's Barbershop. Gentlemen Music performed on the Good Day Stage. Troy was back with more cool toys. Lori had Hot Headlines including Adam Levine say sorry to his exes. Melissa was checking out the GRAND OPENING of Costa Vida. Heather was checking out the Cajun Festival in Isleton

America's Top 40:
Today America lost a legend. America's Top 40 host Casey Kasem kept his feet on the ground and reached for the stars to live among them as he signed off one final time. Casey was also the voice of Shaggy on Scooby Doo for many years.

Heather Brent:
Heather Brent was back on Good Day today first learning how to be a beauty queen from Miss California. Then she went to a Stockton Car show where you can win a NEW Corvette. She then went to a Stockton Consignment Sale where all items are marked down to 50-75% off. She finally made it to the Cajun Food Festival checking out all they have to offer. Now tonight you can see Heather sit down with Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum from this weeks #1 Movie at the Box Office 22 Jump Street making $60,000,000. See Heather tonight on Mark at the Movies at 11pm on CW31.

Fathers Day Ideas:
Cambi handled a lot of the Fathers Day ideas with Fox and Goose Brunch, Lucky's Barbershop and Men's Club. BBQ a MoMo's Meat Market and of course not an idea but something all dads should know how to change a tire from OK Tires on National Tire Day. Melissa didn't lose out on the Fathers Day fun with FREE Golf at Scandia Family Fun Center.

Gentlemen Music:
Performed 4 beautiful songs on the Good Day Stage but did not take the Soft Kitty Challenge but they sounded wonderful.

Ask Eleanor:
Today Eleanor was back in the building with her normal Ask Eleanor Gossip. Today she revealed Jennifer Aniston has as house for a closet. In her new home the closet is 2250 Square Feet... HOLY COW!!! She also talked about Kelly Clarkson giving birth to her daughter.

Dishin:
This week on Dishin With Tina, Tina took us to Krush Burger in Sacramento. This place looks soo good I might have to try it. Look for more on Krush burger this Wednesday in the 9am hour of Good Day Sacramento.

Melissa started the day off as a Superhero for the Superhero 5K run that took place here in Sacramento today.

After playing Superhero and playing FREE Golf Melissa headed to 9 Rounds for an intense fast paced workout.

It's like a a Peanut Butter Cup Two GREAT Tastes in one with Ice Cream and Cake from Baskin Robins Ice Cream.

IT'S HERE IT'S FINALLY HERE! The return of Kristin Marshall as she returns to CBS13 and Good Day Sacramento tomorrow after her time away to give birth to her daughter. So tune in tomorrow starting at 430am to wish Kristin a happy return.
