Audrey - Gives Birth to Maisyn Belle Born June 7th at 8:38 p.m. She weighs 7 pounds 8 ounces and is 19 inches long.
Cody is on VACATION NOW! Look for Cody to return in the next 10 - 14 days while he and his family enjoy this time they have together. As fans of Cody it is up to us to continue giving Good Day Weekend the GREAT ratings it gets with him on. Like many movies they come from Best Selling Books and that is the case of this weeks Box Office winner The Fault In Our Stars. This movie was getting impressive reviews from the test market to the box office. If you have not seen this movie take the box of kleenex with you because you are going to need it and you may run out. Several of my friends at Good Day Sacramento saw it and loved it. At the time of this writing the estimated box office numbers for The Fault In Our Stars is $48,200,000. Falling from the top to number 2 was Angelina Jolie's Maleficent with $33,523,000. Opening to a disappointing 3rd spot was Edge of Tomorrow with $29,105,000. Rounding out the top 5 at #4 X-Men and #5 A Million Ways to Die in the West.

Vacations are upon us. Courtney is out so Tina is in on a Monday meaning most likely she will be off Saturday. With Laura still on CBS Nights Julissa slides over to cover CBS Mornings with Ron Jones so today Lori was covering weather. Ken was back with Show and Tell bringing in Texas Cow and Rattle Snake poop candies and nuts. Marianne tells why your doctor doesn't like you in the Daily List. Today's 5am Club Member was introduced. Today's Question of the day How do you keep the kids cool. Today's Show us Yours was Summer Project.
6am:
Melissa was at Whole Foods Market testing out an new money saving coupon App. The Chinook app saves you from clipping coupons before you go shopping. Just load them and then they can be scanned in for savings. Marianne's Daily Joe showed a cat that jumps on a ladies head when she is getting ready for bed and a robot that senses your emotions.
7am:
This hour was the inspirational hour. But before getting to those stories California Chrome Owner Steve Coburn apologizes while Perry Martin talked via phone with Ken this hour. Mark had infotainment including The Fault in our Stars being #1 at the Box Office. A local Girl Scout Troop is being honored for their work in the community by getting the word out how to conserve water during the drought. The other cool story Timmy Brown is 5 years old and loves to dress up like Superman like every other kid would at that age. The only thing with Timmy is he is in remission of Cancer. But Timmy loves to talk to other kids who are going through the same thing and wants other kids to celebrate birthday's so use the link above to donate to the cause so other kids can celebrate like Timmy in remission. Tina was getting tips from Ryan at Petco to take your dog to the beach.
8am:
In this hour Tina was having a Pooch Pool Party with 3 cute dogs from Front Street Shelter. Melissa was getting road trip tips from Mamamomtourage. A local High School teen created a Frozen dress that looks so amazing. Mark had Infotainment news. Teens Tunes was played. By now we all heard the comments from Steve Coburn on the Belmont Stakes. So today's #9amtopic was Should horses be required to run in the previous 2 races.
9am:
In the final hour of today's show Julissa was joined by Lori for the #9amtopic and the other stories throughout the hour that saw more Mamamomtourage road trip tips. Mark talking more about The Fault in our Stars. Julissa had trending topics that included a 16 year old with her own clothing line. Ken's Manly Minute talked about 5 traits that make a good dad. Tina was getting her lashes done from Amy at Love Your Lashes. and the final question was What games do you play on long road trips.

Ken Shows Texas Poop?
As you know Ken traveled to New York last week for the Belmont but in the first part of the week had to go to Texas. While there he found some interesting items. Some of the items he showed in Today's Show and Tell on Good Day. Ken found Rattle Snake poop and Texas cow poop. The Rattle Snake is chocolate covered sunflowers and the cow is chocolate covered clusters.
There's an App for that
When I was a kid an App meant application of a job. Now App means for your phone. What did we do before when we had no app for that? When shopping we cut coupons but now There's an App for that. Take your newly downloaded app to participating stores and save like Melissa did today on Good Day. She was in Folsom at Whole Foods Market trying out the Chinook App. This app saves you from clipping, dropping those paper coupons and just having it scanned in when you reach the checkout line. Super Timmy:
Staying with Today's theme we got to meet a kid so Super he deserves his own show. It's a bird. It's a plane. It's Super Timmy. Timmy Brown is being honored today at an American Cancer Society event. Timmy just 5 years old is in remission from cancer but loves Superman like every kid does at that age. Timmy has special powers though. When he is Superman he goes around to hospitals and talks to other kids to encourage them to get better. He wants others like him to celebrate birthdays for many years and we can help by donating to cancer research.
Girl Scout
Hailey and other local Girl Scouts are being honored today for their awareness for water conservation. Nice work girls.
Pool Party:
It's HOT!!! So if we're hot imagine how your pets feel. So today on Good Day, Tina with help from Petco and Front Street Shelter had a pool party outback. Front Street brought in 3 cute puppies including a bulldog or Pitbull I'm not sure which I just know it had such a cute face.

Julissa's Trending Topics today were pretty awesome. A man promised his dad a 57 Chevy at age 8 and never forgot it. He worked overtime, saved money and hid the car for 2 years. Over the weekend he surprised his dad with the car he promised. The other story that caught my attention was a 16 year old girl who started her own clothing Line. Nicole Madison didn't stop there either. No this special teen gives back with Flip Flops to kids in Uganda as well.

Baby got Sir Mix A lot? Say what? It's true. In Mark's infotainment he talked about the singer performing the song with the Seattle Symphony. Kim got Kanye a cake promoting his new tour for his birthday and one of the sisters in having a baby. I still don't care. The Fault in our Stars was number 1 this week and Mark talked with 4 of the stars of the film. Ms. Nevada is Miss USA and a Black Belt. Disney now has a Frozen section at the Park and Donald Duck was born today in 1934. He came into this world without pants and he will leave the same way. But how did his nephews get born?
Frozen:
A Folsom High teen loves Disney and Frozen so she made her own Frozen Dress. This was amazing. But Kaylee is not done. She is now making her own Maleficent costume. If it is as good as Frozen I can't wait to see it.
Mamamomtourage:
One of my favorite recurring Good Day guests was on the show today. Amanda aka Mama Momtourage showed Melissa and us how to keep your sanity in a car on a long road trip. I don't have kids but those who do check out her blog.
Tina was getting her eye lashes done at Love Your Lashes. Amy the owner also gives back the last Sunday of each month by paying it forward to cancer patients by offering free service.
Tina was back today so at this point I'm not sure what's on tap for tomorrow on Good Day other than Show Us Yours topic is swimming pictures but I assure you I will have all Good Day has to offer and Fox40 covered. Until then stay safe, stay cool, stay dry unless you jump in a pool.

Vacations are upon us. Courtney is out so Tina is in on a Monday meaning most likely she will be off Saturday. With Laura still on CBS Nights Julissa slides over to cover CBS Mornings with Ron Jones so today Lori was covering weather. Ken was back with Show and Tell bringing in Texas Cow and Rattle Snake poop candies and nuts. Marianne tells why your doctor doesn't like you in the Daily List. Today's 5am Club Member was introduced. Today's Question of the day How do you keep the kids cool. Today's Show us Yours was Summer Project.
6am:
Melissa was at Whole Foods Market testing out an new money saving coupon App. The Chinook app saves you from clipping coupons before you go shopping. Just load them and then they can be scanned in for savings. Marianne's Daily Joe showed a cat that jumps on a ladies head when she is getting ready for bed and a robot that senses your emotions.
7am:
This hour was the inspirational hour. But before getting to those stories California Chrome Owner Steve Coburn apologizes while Perry Martin talked via phone with Ken this hour. Mark had infotainment including The Fault in our Stars being #1 at the Box Office. A local Girl Scout Troop is being honored for their work in the community by getting the word out how to conserve water during the drought. The other cool story Timmy Brown is 5 years old and loves to dress up like Superman like every other kid would at that age. The only thing with Timmy is he is in remission of Cancer. But Timmy loves to talk to other kids who are going through the same thing and wants other kids to celebrate birthday's so use the link above to donate to the cause so other kids can celebrate like Timmy in remission. Tina was getting tips from Ryan at Petco to take your dog to the beach.
8am:
In this hour Tina was having a Pooch Pool Party with 3 cute dogs from Front Street Shelter. Melissa was getting road trip tips from Mamamomtourage. A local High School teen created a Frozen dress that looks so amazing. Mark had Infotainment news. Teens Tunes was played. By now we all heard the comments from Steve Coburn on the Belmont Stakes. So today's #9amtopic was Should horses be required to run in the previous 2 races.
9am:
In the final hour of today's show Julissa was joined by Lori for the #9amtopic and the other stories throughout the hour that saw more Mamamomtourage road trip tips. Mark talking more about The Fault in our Stars. Julissa had trending topics that included a 16 year old with her own clothing line. Ken's Manly Minute talked about 5 traits that make a good dad. Tina was getting her lashes done from Amy at Love Your Lashes. and the final question was What games do you play on long road trips.

Ken Shows Texas Poop?
As you know Ken traveled to New York last week for the Belmont but in the first part of the week had to go to Texas. While there he found some interesting items. Some of the items he showed in Today's Show and Tell on Good Day. Ken found Rattle Snake poop and Texas cow poop. The Rattle Snake is chocolate covered sunflowers and the cow is chocolate covered clusters.
There's an App for that
When I was a kid an App meant application of a job. Now App means for your phone. What did we do before when we had no app for that? When shopping we cut coupons but now There's an App for that. Take your newly downloaded app to participating stores and save like Melissa did today on Good Day. She was in Folsom at Whole Foods Market trying out the Chinook App. This app saves you from clipping, dropping those paper coupons and just having it scanned in when you reach the checkout line. Works on Apple and Android (Select cities)
Super Timmy:
Staying with Today's theme we got to meet a kid so Super he deserves his own show. It's a bird. It's a plane. It's Super Timmy. Timmy Brown is being honored today at an American Cancer Society event. Timmy just 5 years old is in remission from cancer but loves Superman like every kid does at that age. Timmy has special powers though. When he is Superman he goes around to hospitals and talks to other kids to encourage them to get better. He wants others like him to celebrate birthdays for many years and we can help by donating to cancer research.
Girl Scout
Hailey and other local Girl Scouts are being honored today for their awareness for water conservation. Nice work girls.
Pool Party:
It's HOT!!! So if we're hot imagine how your pets feel. So today on Good Day, Tina with help from Petco and Front Street Shelter had a pool party outback. Front Street brought in 3 cute puppies including a bulldog or Pitbull I'm not sure which I just know it had such a cute face.

Julissa's Trending Topics today were pretty awesome. A man promised his dad a 57 Chevy at age 8 and never forgot it. He worked overtime, saved money and hid the car for 2 years. Over the weekend he surprised his dad with the car he promised. The other story that caught my attention was a 16 year old girl who started her own clothing Line. Nicole Madison didn't stop there either. No this special teen gives back with Flip Flops to kids in Uganda as well.

Baby got Sir Mix A lot? Say what? It's true. In Mark's infotainment he talked about the singer performing the song with the Seattle Symphony. Kim got Kanye a cake promoting his new tour for his birthday and one of the sisters in having a baby. I still don't care. The Fault in our Stars was number 1 this week and Mark talked with 4 of the stars of the film. Ms. Nevada is Miss USA and a Black Belt. Disney now has a Frozen section at the Park and Donald Duck was born today in 1934. He came into this world without pants and he will leave the same way. But how did his nephews get born?
Frozen:
A Folsom High teen loves Disney and Frozen so she made her own Frozen Dress. This was amazing. But Kaylee is not done. She is now making her own Maleficent costume. If it is as good as Frozen I can't wait to see it.
Mamamomtourage:
One of my favorite recurring Good Day guests was on the show today. Amanda aka Mama Momtourage showed Melissa and us how to keep your sanity in a car on a long road trip. I don't have kids but those who do check out her blog.
Tina was getting her eye lashes done at Love Your Lashes. Amy the owner also gives back the last Sunday of each month by paying it forward to cancer patients by offering free service.
Tina was back today so at this point I'm not sure what's on tap for tomorrow on Good Day other than Show Us Yours topic is swimming pictures but I assure you I will have all Good Day has to offer and Fox40 covered. Until then stay safe, stay cool, stay dry unless you jump in a pool.
