Opening Statement:
Last night the Seattle Seahawks received their Super Bowl Rings and that got me thinking about a couple things. One how much as a sports fan and Buffalo Bills fan I want a Super Bowl win and ring for my team but also it got me thinking about what hard work gets you in the end. Sure you may not get a big trophy or a beautiful ring in the end but you get the satisfaction of completion as well as possibly a raise, promotion or a heartfelt Thank you whatever the case may be.
So I'm not here to gloat about the Seahawks but I am here to remind you that no matter what life and work may throw at you try to stay focused on the task at hand and in the end you might get that ring i.e. Large Bonus in your check.

Marianne and Mark are off today so cancel the Daily List and News of the Weird. But today is National Flip Flop day aka Tina's Holiday so that was today's Show Us Yours. The Question of the Day was Where is the best place to wear flip flops. Show and Tell today had Tina showing her flip flop collection, Ken talking about the Kentucky Derby trophy arriving in Sacramento and Cody showed to amazing things. First a Whale Tracker and then a Marilyn Monroe statue being thrown away in China. The 5am Club Member was introduced

As I said Marianne is off so no Daily Joe today. Melissa was investigating the healing art of Reiki. Cody was learning to play cornhole and now I have Bevis and Butthead in my mind and no I will not repeat that.
7am:
Melissa continued with Reiki Healing. Cody and Tina played Cornhole. Julissa was checking out Bonny Field before they play their first match. Lori was at AgFest as kids dress up and dress up their animals including Ghostbusters, Cotton Candy Cow, Cow Chicken and more. Cody was with Jackson Rancheria as they talked Guest Friendly Weddings including fun things for kids to do.
8am:
Make A Wish makes another wish come true with 8 year old Jon Jon who will become a Train Engineer. Lori continued at Ag Fest. Teen's Tunes was played. Women in Need is holding a special Laugh event at Tommy T's tonight. Gary Mendoza is playing in Elk Grove this weekend at BBQ Country and Blues. Today's #9amtopic was introduced. Jeremy Meeks arrested on weapons charges his mugshot has gone viral because of his model looks. Women are throwing themselves at him even though he is married with child. TMZ has deemed his as Mugshot McDreamy so today's topic was What are your thoughts on him.
9am:
In the final hour of the show this week Julissa and Ken took us through the hour and today's #9amtopic. Cody was eating Ice Cream with a GIANT Mustache. Melissa took over the DeMarcus Cousins Basketball camp with 180 participants. Kristin continued with Jon Jon as he gets to engineer a train for his Make a Wish. Ken's Manly Minute talked about what kids like me did in the 70's on Summer Vacation. Nancy Bradley answered viewers questions. Tina's Final Question was who would you model for and Gary Mendoza performed on the Good Day Stage including the Dance Party song.

A Stockton man has the Internet a buzz with his Mugshot photo. Not because he is drunk but because he is HOT!! According to 50K + women who have commented thus far at least. He has set the Internet on fire and women all over are feeling the heat. Couple of concerns about this guy Jeremy. 1. He is married with child. 2. He has been arrested for weapons charges. Plus he's not that hot in my opinion. Women word of advice. If you want a man who is dreamy and I say this as a man who is very comfortable in my own skin but a man like Ken is much more respectable and he is a very handsome man. Jeremy is not. Get by the looks and look into the soul. He's a bad dude. Just my opinion.
Soccer in a Bowl:
Tonight Sac Republic opens up Bonney Field at Cal Expo. Today Sean and Julissa were there to check it out. Julissa even took part in a fun challenge of kicking a soccer ball in a toilet bowl. After 4 tries Julissa got the ball in a bowl.
Flippin Out:
Today in National Flip Flop Day AKA Tina's day. Tina loves Flip Flops and has a collection of them including special ones Danoc made for her with with the Good Day Logo on it.
Reiki:
Everyone needs healing. Some use modern medicine, Some use alternative healing. Today Melissa was in Orangevale checking out Reiki healing and swears it worked for her. Is it mind over matter? Does it really work? That is up to you to decide.
Ag Fest:
Lori loves Agriculture and 4H today she was checking out Ag Fest where the kids dress up and also dress up their animals to look like them or to go with their costumes. They had Cotton Candy and Popcorn, Chickens Cows and so much more.
BBQ Country:
This weekend in Elk Grove the BBQ Country and Blues. Today Gary Mendoza played the Good Day Stage for 3 songs including the Dance Party Song.
Cornhole:
Today and Tomorrow the Cornhole Championship is taking place in Rocklin. With a free event today. But they stopped by Good Day to teach Cody and Tina how to play first. Get in on the board get a point. Get in the hole get 3 points and get it in the grass get 0 points.

Today's Manly Minute with Ken talked about what kids did for Summer Vacation in the 1970's. However it sort of counterdicted itself with Watch TV and Play outside all day. You can't do both. But for the most part he's right. We did a lot of those things as kids. I loved going outside and playing Wiffle Ball, Football, riding bikes. etc when I was a kid. and as far as building a fort I did that too but I built forts for my GI Joe.

Marianne and Mark are off today so cancel the Daily List and News of the Weird. But today is National Flip Flop day aka Tina's Holiday so that was today's Show Us Yours. The Question of the Day was Where is the best place to wear flip flops. Show and Tell today had Tina showing her flip flop collection, Ken talking about the Kentucky Derby trophy arriving in Sacramento and Cody showed to amazing things. First a Whale Tracker and then a Marilyn Monroe statue being thrown away in China. The 5am Club Member was introduced
6am:
As I said Marianne is off so no Daily Joe today. Melissa was investigating the healing art of Reiki. Cody was learning to play cornhole and now I have Bevis and Butthead in my mind and no I will not repeat that.
7am:
Melissa continued with Reiki Healing. Cody and Tina played Cornhole. Julissa was checking out Bonny Field before they play their first match. Lori was at AgFest as kids dress up and dress up their animals including Ghostbusters, Cotton Candy Cow, Cow Chicken and more. Cody was with Jackson Rancheria as they talked Guest Friendly Weddings including fun things for kids to do.
8am:
Make A Wish makes another wish come true with 8 year old Jon Jon who will become a Train Engineer. Lori continued at Ag Fest. Teen's Tunes was played. Women in Need is holding a special Laugh event at Tommy T's tonight. Gary Mendoza is playing in Elk Grove this weekend at BBQ Country and Blues. Today's #9amtopic was introduced. Jeremy Meeks arrested on weapons charges his mugshot has gone viral because of his model looks. Women are throwing themselves at him even though he is married with child. TMZ has deemed his as Mugshot McDreamy so today's topic was What are your thoughts on him.
9am:
In the final hour of the show this week Julissa and Ken took us through the hour and today's #9amtopic. Cody was eating Ice Cream with a GIANT Mustache. Melissa took over the DeMarcus Cousins Basketball camp with 180 participants. Kristin continued with Jon Jon as he gets to engineer a train for his Make a Wish. Ken's Manly Minute talked about what kids like me did in the 70's on Summer Vacation. Nancy Bradley answered viewers questions. Tina's Final Question was who would you model for and Gary Mendoza performed on the Good Day Stage including the Dance Party song.

A Stockton man has the Internet a buzz with his Mugshot photo. Not because he is drunk but because he is HOT!! According to 50K + women who have commented thus far at least. He has set the Internet on fire and women all over are feeling the heat. Couple of concerns about this guy Jeremy. 1. He is married with child. 2. He has been arrested for weapons charges. Plus he's not that hot in my opinion. Women word of advice. If you want a man who is dreamy and I say this as a man who is very comfortable in my own skin but a man like Ken is much more respectable and he is a very handsome man. Jeremy is not. Get by the looks and look into the soul. He's a bad dude. Just my opinion.
Soccer in a Bowl:
Tonight Sac Republic opens up Bonney Field at Cal Expo. Today Sean and Julissa were there to check it out. Julissa even took part in a fun challenge of kicking a soccer ball in a toilet bowl. After 4 tries Julissa got the ball in a bowl.
Flippin Out:
Today in National Flip Flop Day AKA Tina's day. Tina loves Flip Flops and has a collection of them including special ones Danoc made for her with with the Good Day Logo on it.
Reiki:
Everyone needs healing. Some use modern medicine, Some use alternative healing. Today Melissa was in Orangevale checking out Reiki healing and swears it worked for her. Is it mind over matter? Does it really work? That is up to you to decide.
Ag Fest:
Lori loves Agriculture and 4H today she was checking out Ag Fest where the kids dress up and also dress up their animals to look like them or to go with their costumes. They had Cotton Candy and Popcorn, Chickens Cows and so much more.
BBQ Country:
This weekend in Elk Grove the BBQ Country and Blues. Today Gary Mendoza played the Good Day Stage for 3 songs including the Dance Party Song.
Cornhole:
Today and Tomorrow the Cornhole Championship is taking place in Rocklin. With a free event today. But they stopped by Good Day to teach Cody and Tina how to play first. Get in on the board get a point. Get in the hole get 3 points and get it in the grass get 0 points.

Jon Jon had a wish to be an engineer. Today Jon Jon gets his Make A Wish wish. Coming out from Jackson, MS. He rode in a Limo to the Amtrak station but first was made an honorary Sac PD officer. I love when Kristin gets involved in stories like this.
WIN:
Women in Need are having a special comedy show tonight at 730pm at Tommy T's. Proceeds go to this organisation.
Nancy:
Nancy Bradley was in Studio answering viewer questions.

Cody was at Farrell's Ice Cream for the Ice Cream Eating Challenge taking place now through July 13.
Basketball Queen:
Melissa is the Basketball Queen today as she took over the 180 kids at Sacramento Kings DeMarcus Cousins Basketball camp. Today is the last day for the camp.
Party like it's 1970:
Today's Manly Minute with Ken talked about what kids did for Summer Vacation in the 1970's. However it sort of counterdicted itself with Watch TV and Play outside all day. You can't do both. But for the most part he's right. We did a lot of those things as kids. I loved going outside and playing Wiffle Ball, Football, riding bikes. etc when I was a kid. and as far as building a fort I did that too but I built forts for my GI Joe.

Now that we have danced into the weekend we can once again say the controls are now turned over to Cody, Amy and crew for the weekend show. Tina worked all week for the vacationing Courtney so look for a return visit of Christianne (Unconfirmed) on Saturday. Also remember Faith sees her Make A Wish Farm LIVE on Good Day. Tina will be back on Sunday for an new edition of Dishin With Tina and we Ask Eleanor as well.
