Final Thought:
I always find it interesting when all 3 stations cover the same event much like they did today at the new Farrell's opening Thursday. I find it interesting because they each have a unique look at how it's covered but do they really show what the viewers want? Farrell's is a fun ice cream spot that has bells, sirens, balloons, singing, dancing and of course loads upon loads of ice cream for their customers. My58 took the coverage and talked about the benefit of a special event taking place today where proceeds benefit the Burn Institute, a great
cause and event but failed to show the fun you and the employees have when there. Fox40 sent stuffy Paul Robbins in a suit & tie. While he did try to make it fun he is just the wrong person to send their. I would've preferred Zohreen, Bethany, or Sabrina. They are what I call the fun bunch on Fox40 in the morning. They too did talk about the benefit but the winner and undisputed champion of fun news went to Good Day Sacramento and Tina Macuha. She did it all from fun to seriousness to fun throughout the morning. My58 would've been better suited sending Lisa or Mae who they instead sent to a swim championship at an empty pool. While Tina was busy for Good Day Sacramento at Farrell's they sent the tag team of Cody Stark & Mark S. Allen to cover the swim championship at a different pool and as you can see from the video & photos hilarity ensued.
Side note due to an early appointment Thursday Fox & My58 may not be covered due to time constraints but Good Day Sacramento will be. In addition be sure to set your DVR's tomorrow for 930am EST / 630am PST to Reelzchannel for Mark at the Movies as Mark & Anna talk We're the Millers and more.
