Now that American Sniper has opened Worldwide and not in select theaters it rose to the top of the Box Office Charts. American Sniper blew away its competition with an estimated $90,205,000. Followed by 2 this week The Wedding Ringer $21,000,000. Coming in 3rd Paddington with 19,287,000. Falling 4 spots to #4 Taken 3 with $14,050,000 also falling 4 spots from 2 to 5 Selma with $8,300,000

This week in Retro Reel Review Mark showed a music video made of Taken and then was joined by Alicia Malone from Malone's Movie Minute. Alicia has the #1 download Movie Podcast on ITunes for her reviews and talk about Movies. Her take on Taken was pretty spot on as to why it did so well last week and her interaction with Mark made for some funny moments.I really enjoyed having her as a guest and hope she will come back.
New Movies this week in addition to American Sniper included The Wedding Ringer, Paddington, Blackhat and Spare Parts.
The Wedding Ringer stars Kevin Hart and Josh Gad. Josh may always be remembered best for his role as Olaf in Frozen but he along with Kevin have you laughing in The Wedding Ringer and in their sit down interview with Dionna where Kevin sings and Josh learns to make it rain.
Though everyone enjoyed Paddington starring Nicole Kidman they didn't spend much time on the movie.
Blackhat is a must see! This movie starring Chris Hemsworth, Tang Wei While Sony was being hacked Blackhat was waiting for it's release. The one interview I found fascinating this week was Mark talking to the Former FBI Agent and the Hacker who took down Okay Cupid.
The final movie talked about this week was Spare Parts starring George Lopez. Alexa is a GREAT Interviewer. She along with George had me laughing the entire time.
What's your favorite Movie of the Year? Boyhood, Birdman, American Sniper? The Grand Budapest Hotel? Mark thinks Boyhood will take the Oscar for BEST Picture.
Next week the lead movies is Boy Next Door starring Jennifer Lopez and Mordecai starring Johnny Depp so until then I will see you at the movies.
