Final Thoughts:
In one of the funnier skits this week Chris Emery did a very good job delivering the lines along with Rachel, Heather, Dionna, Jordyn did a nice job playing along as Chris got the call Mark was taken and they wanted $38 for his release and decides pizza is a better option. But with all kidding aside it was time to get to work and one of my favorite guests, Alex Hudgens from Black Tree TV joined Mark via Skype to talk about The Hobbit after Mark showed his interview with Martin Freeman in the Retro Reel Review.
New Movies this week brought us Taken 3, Kingsman The Secret Service and Selma. Leading off with Taken 3 I am completely on the fence to see this movie. It was GREAT that Liam Neeson joined via Satellite to talk about it but I am leaning more on waiting until it's on on DVD to see it. I feel much the same way as the others do about this movie and about this character. It seems like Liam is stuck in the same person in his last few films which is why I'm not sure about seeing it. However it did pretty well this weekend.
The next movie talked about was Kingsman - The Secret Service. This movie stars Samuel L. Jackson and this movie looks like one to see right off the bat. The movie isn't released until next month so look for much more on it once it is released the day before Valentines Day.
Tough it's been out since Christmas Selma expanded this week and it is a MUST SEE!!! Don't walk run and see this awesome movie that should win award after award. David Oyelowo portrayal of Dr. King is remarkable.
New to DVD is Boyhood getting a ton of Oscar buzz but I'll be honest I don't know much about it. and Equalizer with Denzel Washington.
This weeks show was a great escape for 30 minutes of reality. Be sure to come back next week for all of the Mark at the Movies fun and I will see you at the Movies.
