Favorite Story / Story of the Day: Mel Vs Maloney:
It's another edition of Mel vs Maloney that stands out today making it 1 of 2 stories of the day. This edition of this friendly rival takes us to Roseville as the competitors square off in a game of Pickleball. What is Pickleball? 



Pickleball is a sport in which two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball over a net. The sport shares features of other racquet sports, the dimensions and layout of a Badminton court, and a net and rules similar to tennis, with a few modifications. Pickleball was invented in the mid 1960s as a children's backyard pastime but quickly became popular among adults as a fun game for players of all skill levels.

Today Melissa and Jason headed to Spare Time Club in Roseville to duel in this latest challenge. Jason had won 3 of the last 4 only losing in the Pumpkin throwing competition in a Tie Breaker. Today Jason got back on track and won once again. This time Jason was down 8-5 at one point and came back to win.

WOAH!!! We have almost a tie at the top spot at the Box Office. With the official numbers not released until Monday Gone Girl squeaks out a win over Annabelle. This is the closest I've seen 2 movies finish 1-2 since the start of my recap of Mark at the Movies and the Box Office Winners. 



As I said these numbers are not official until Monday but taking the top spot was Gone Girl with an estimated $38,000,000 followed by Annabelle with $37,200,000 coming in at number 2. Falling 2 spots to #3 The Equalizer with $19,000,000. Coming in at the 4th spot was Box Trolls at $12,425,000 and continuing their fall to the 5th spot The Maze Runner with $12,000,000.
