We made it to Friday and the weekend is near. Today Tina checks in from Dallas, Nha is back. The Asparagus Festival is also back this weekend after many thought it would go away for good. Comedian Bobby Lee will stop by before taking the stage at Punchline. Save Mart is offering a challenge and Melissa is going to take them on today in this edition of The Kid In All Of Us... Nha: Fun With Engineering
Today on Good Day Nha was at Folsom High School for the Engineering Challenge... Paper airplanes, catapults, hovercrafts, wind turbines, robots and the physics version of the dunk tank, these will ALL be featured at this year’s Folsom High School Engineering Challenge.

Another week and show day has come to a close. Today we talk about Tina, Melissa, Mark, Heather, Nha and Cody.



Leading off Country Music is very popular and this year the ACM's turn 50. Tina with help from Good Day and KNCI headed to Dallas to cover the awards for both stations. Tina did a great job and had a lot of fun like she always does. Tina brought us 4 reports and even a portion of the Presser with host's Luke and Blake. 



Melissa started her day at the Airport as she saw Chamber leaders off to Washington before she herself headed to Save Mart for a new app money saving challenge. Spoiler Alert Melissa won the challenge. Now we can get ready for tomorrow's Coupon Corner with Melissa in the 8/9a hour of Good Day Weekend. 



If you ever wanted to see Mark cry show him a clip of Star Wars Episode VII prior to it's Christmas release. The clip of Han and Chewie will send chills up your spine. Now for a more serious note. Mark was in West Sacramento learning the proper way to retire a flag at a special ceremony. Dave captured this Korean War Vet watching as the flag was retired. 



I found today's reports on the Asparagus Festival with Heather very entertaining as well as educational. She started at the farm learning the process then went to the new festival with 2 of the area's top chefs learning to cook different meals with the plant. The Festival runs Now - Sunday at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds



Nha was in Folsom checking out the 8th Annual Folsom High School Engineering Challenge. Nha got to check out many cool engineering ideas such as a catapult, Slip n Slide, a Lie Detector and other cool projects but I was most impressed with the Hovercraft she got to ride on. I WANT ONE!!!!



Cody was awesome because he got to capture Mark's natural reaction to the Star Wars Trailer release yesterday plus today he got to chat with comedian Bobby Lee who kept his shirt on today. Not only that he got a front row seat to Bobby the Dog who loves Young and the Restless. If you've never seen a dog trick work on TV You're in for a treat.
