Today on Good Day Alexis was with Randy and Beth Seevers who started Runnin’ for Rhett a non-profit foundation that was founded on December 7th, 2007 by a grassroots group of family and friends that love Rhett Seevers. Rhett died at just 7 years old from cerebral palsy. Sunday, April 26th @ 9:50 am

Kristin started her day as volunteers at Casa El Dorado put together 3200 or so lunches which they have been doing for over 19 years for schools and other businesses. Kristin then headed to Elk Grove for some workplace self defense training with Robinson's Taekwondo. This was an especially good segment for realtors who might be showing a home



Alexis brought the BEST story of the day with a very moving, touching story when she was with the parents of Rhett Seevers who's passing in 2007 inspired them to create a run in his honor. Runnin For Rhett taking place Sunday April 26.

Melissa started her day with a local family in Roseville at Peek-a-boo so they could reveal the sex of the new baby using 4D Technology. For the reveal see the story below.

Cody wanted breakfast so Drewski's Hot Rod Food Truck was at the studio talking about SactoMOFO 8 Truck Fest taking place Saturday 2-9pm with proceeds benefiting Front Street Animal Shelter 



Tina and Courtney teamed up and joined forces once again as Tool Belt Tina and Coverall Courtney with Randy from Emigh Hardware as he showed how to install a water drip system.



No Thursday can be complete without Gina from Thrift Town today showing how to make a no sew throw pillow. 



All and All it was a very decent solid show today with a lot of fun filled activities as well as information. For all these stories and more this is Cody's Breakfast of Champions... Today in the News....

Today on Good Day Kristin was in Diamond Springs at CASA El Dorado where they were making about 3200 lunches.. For the past 19 years, CASA volunteers have made and delivered box lunches to customers in business and school offices throughout our county making this fundraiser one of the longest running events in our region.
