Courtney: Franklin High School – Penn Relays
Today on Good Day Courtney talked with the coach from The Franklin HS track team who is the only Northern California high school to qualify for the Penn Relays which is the oldest and largest track & field competition in the country. Now they just have to pay for it

It was another fun look back at the past and connecting today and the future. With all the Throwback photos and the MTV Videos it was a trip down memory lane once again on Good Day. But it wasn't all a blast from the past. Today we take a closer look at what Alexis, Laura, Courtney, Cody, Melissa and Mark did today. 



Alexis was with Make-A-Wish for their 27th Annual Wine and Food Fest taking place April 25 with 36 Handles in studio showing some of the food you will be getting. Plus Kristin Marshall will be taking part. 



Laura talked with Placer SPCA who are offering classes on how to feed little tiny kittens and she also talked with Gina from Thrift Town who showed different items to use as flower pots.



Courtney first talked with the Track Coach at Franklin HS who has his team heading to Penn Relay and through a GoFundMe Page you can help get them there. Plus Courtney ran Court's Tunes, Question of the Day and had a Cooper Kit Check This Out. A What's in the Box great for dad and kids. 



Cody gave us a flying donut then shared he would be Skyping with the w gentlemen who launched the donut this weekend. Cody then headed out back to talk with the only Sacramento Supercross team going to participate at Levi Stadium for a big competition. After not being selected to the team Cody headed to check out a new Coffee spot that provides a place to work. Trade Coffee and Coworking officially opens Saturday. Cody and Alexis talked with Cedric The Entertainer about his new show on CW. That was not all however. Cody, Alexis and Good Day surprised Jason with a Road trip in Rover with Dave Gras to Hollywood. Why? Melody Scott Thomas from The Young and The Restless personally invited Jason to appear on the show once again. Jason first appeared on the show is Male Nurse #1 years ago and now he will be providing security for Melody's character. 



Melissa starting her day in a local man's garage. However not just any garage. This garage belongs to Tyler from Timeless Thrills. They are a home based clothing line based right here in Sacramento  Melissa then headed to Elk Grove to check out Ronnie's Shaved Ice a perfect idea on a hot day. 



Mark wasn't having any fun today... No wait yes he was.  He started his day with News of the Weird then headed to 7-11 to see what's new they are offering in foods and drinks. It not just a donut anymore. Now they have an app and gourmet foods. After he left 7-11 he headed to NOW 100.5 to introduce all of us to the newest edition of the CBS Radio family. Erica Cobb. Erica comes from Denver and brings a rich history with her. She will be a fun, person to listen to on Now with Todd Baker and watch from time to time on Good Day. She is stunning..
