Favorite / Story of the Day:
Today's Story of the day Nina was in Roseville for the Hot Pink Breast Cancer 5k Run benefiting the Placer Breast Cancer Endowment as October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 



We all know someone who has battled or been lost to Breast Cancer. While so many are not lucky I feel like I am very lucky because I know 3 people who have had it and all 3 of them are survivors. My Sister Laurie, and my Sisters in Spirit Tina Macuha and Shawn L Brown aka The Hair Doctor. 



But it is events like the Hot Pink Fun Run, Susan G. Komen and the BREAST Concert EVER by Now 100.5 taking place tomorrow night that help remind us all that this horrible disease is still around and we need to raise awareness and funds to STOMP OUT Cancer much like the kids did the other day when Cody took Pies to the face. 



Let's all do our part so we can keep people like Tina, like Shawn, like my sister, like your neighbor, like your family member or High School Friends whatever the case may be just do our part.

Albie Aware Breast Cancer Foundation needs 200 breast cancer survivors to participate in forming a synchronized human pink ribbon during halftime at the Sacramento Kings preseason game on Tuesday, October 7, 2014! Albie Aware is the beneficiary of the Sacramento Kings Breast Cancer Awareness night called “Pink in the Paint.” If you're interested, read on...  Here is what you will need to agree to into order to participate: · Arrive at Sleep Train Arena at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct 7 and remain until after the halftime show · Participate in a rehearsal at Sleep Train Arena – most likely on Sunday, Oct. 5 in the afternoon (Confirmation on Friday). Lori was with a group from the Sactoberfest getting a cooking demo. In the 9am hour we met the Beer Maidens and Lori even dressed as one to do the Chicken Dance.

Nina was in Roseville checking out the Hot Pink Fun Run. This run benefits Placer Breast Cancer Endowment.

Today Cody talked with Summer and her sister about their Outlander Podcast and the show. Cody will be joining the Podcast Read Along as well. Blue Grass Band Crooked Bird performed on the Good Day Stage. If you want some knee slappin and toe tappin this band will have you doing that about 5 seconds into the song. Today Cody was in the Kitchen with Chef Evan from Evan's Kitchen learning how to cook the BEST Prime Rib. A perfect Fall Food. 



Jurassic Quest:
Melissa was at Cal Expo for the Final Day of Jurassic Quest. Head there before 8pm before the Dinosaurs become extinct again. 



Toy Expo:
Cambi was at the Scottish Rite Center checking out the Toy Expo. If you are looking for Vintage and new toys this is the place to be today. Just $6 for admission. 



Classics by the Capitol
Today, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. is the Classics by the Capitol taking place at Central Library 828 I St. Nina was there checking it out and talked with Gary who has his car stolen 33 years ago and got it back. This was featured earlier this month on Good Day with Kristin.
