Opening Statement:
Every 9 Seconds. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 Another woman has just been beaten. Domestic violence is the leading cause of injury to women—more than car accidents, muggings, and rapes combined. 



We need to STOP this. As a child I lived through Domestic Violence in the home and then worked with kids in Foster Care who like me became victims it has made me a better person and a better man. I REFUSE to ever strike a woman or even think about it. It has always been my stance since I was a kid to treat a woman like a Queen. I hope in my 45 years of life I have done that. because every 9 seconds another woman has been beaten. Did you know.... Nearly 1 in 5 teenage girls who have been in a relationship said a boyfriend threatened violence or self-harm if presented with a breakup. 



By now everyone has seen/heard about the Ray Rice video and therefore I have decided to not show it or link it to be shown. Lets not be a part of every 9 seconds anymore.

As students prepare for their first day of school, McDonald’s restaurants in Northern California and Northern Nevada are helping kick-start their year with a wholesome breakfast. Because the #9amtopic is such a hot topic today as well as it was yesterday Today's favorite story falls into the Story of the day. Everyone is talking about Ray Rice and the video. While everyone is talking about the lack of discipline shown by both the Atlantic City DA and the NFL remember they would not be in this predicament had Ray Rice not strike his wife in the first place. 



Now to the NFL: I am so disappointed in their actions leading up to yesterday's events you cannot tell me with all the money they have they did not or could not get a copy of the video. That to me is a bull faced lie. Even if you didn't see the video the first punishment of 2 games was never enough. "Every 9 Seconds" a woman is beaten in Domestic Violence. You hold your players to a high standard I challenge the league office to take Domestic Violence awareness classes because not matter if it was Ray Rice, Ray McDonald or anyone Domestic Violence is ugly and should no longer be a part of today's society. We are now in 2014 and we need to stop those who feel the need to beat or lay their hands on any female and/or child. I also encourage San Francisco do the right thing with Ray McDonald don't take the same road as the Ravens who are not fighting a PR mess.



Atlantic City DA You completely dropped the ball. If that was me I would not be allowed in the program that you allowed Ray Rice to enter. You blew it. 



Wife Janey. I get that when you love someone it's hard to walk away but remember this it was not the media or the public that beat you in the elevator. Here is a copy of the letter Janey Rice released today.
