Final Thoughts:
This weeks Mark at the Movies was far and away better than last weeks. This week we saw the return of one of my favorite segments with Director Marc Woodfork talking about "What You Should Be Talking About". This week Marc previewed 3 new movies to look forward to. The first "Fury" starring Brad Pitt and opening November 14. That was followed by "Birdman" starring Michael Keaton with a release date of October 17. The final Movie Marc thinks we should be talking about is Foxcatcher starring both Steve Carell and Channing Tatum. This movie is also set for November 14. Birdman is already catching Oscar buzz.
When the show opened this week everyone was wanting to play Pin the tale on the Dolphin but Brian got confused about the game. Chris Emery was the Seagull while Dionna showed her acting skills being the wave. Heather was the one with the Blindfold and Brian decided they needed a pirate even though in Dolphin Tale they had no pirate thus ending the game and going into Chris Evans and Samuel Jackson providing the insults.
In Retro Reel Review Amber Cole from Hot 100 in Virginia Beach talked about Guardians of the Galaxy. I was unable to find any Facebook, Twitter or Instagram accounts on Amber.
When the crew that consisted of Mark, Rachel, Heather, Dionna, Anna, Lexy, and Anna started to talk about the new movies this week the first was "No Good Deed" This film stars Idris Elba known for his roll in Luther. Idris joined via Satellite and talked to Mark about one of his loves of Club Deejaying which he did at one club in Toronto during the Film Fest.
The next movie was Dolphin Tale 2. This movie saw Big Al run the interviews. Big Al talked to Harry Connick Jr. Ashley Judd and God err I mean Morgan Freeman. Everyone liked the movie.
In the final segment of the show the crew talked about Captain America Winter Soldier which is new to DVD. Well if you have been a fan of Mark at the Movies then you know from time to time Mark will change that segment to Nude to DVD asking an Exotic Dancer their opinion on the movie. This week was one of those week. and Her name was Lola, she was a showgirl from Gold Club. Lola might have had a couple or so adult beverages because she was loaded. She thought she was on to talk about the hit movie.... Wait for it.... "Captain Crunch" Does that mean all these years I've been eating Captain America for breakfast? Why is Captain Crunch not getting Oscar buzz? It did make for a very funny moment on the show and it was a fun way to end this weeks show.
For weeks I wanted to know who the new girl was and Thank you so much to Rachel who told me her name is Dionna Renee. So who is Dionna? She is an employee of CBS Radio. Dionna is a wonderful addition to the Mark at the Movies Family.
I am still waiting on more information on Lexy so as soon as I get that I will give her her own proper introduction.
Remember to watch Mark at the Movies tonight on #CW31 if you are local to Sacramento area or download the iphone app and it will be ready to view Monday afternoon. In the mean time I will see you at the movies......
