Opening Statement:
Yesterday on Good Day Sacramento they hit the 90,000 mark on Facebook. Since that event occurred the number of likes has continued to increase and well on the way to 100,000. It's a little bit longer to go but I am confident the viewers will come through once they are officially called upon. 

Also. You may have seen from time to time cartoon photos from Good Day Viewers saying how they feel about the show. Well I am pleased and I am humbled to announce yesterday was my turn. In this hour Marianne was back and brought the Daily List with her. Ken, Courtney shared for Show and Tell. Courtney had manicure day with her daughter over the weekend and Ken got an email from a viewer watching in Peru. Tina had Question of the Day and the 5am Club Members got introduced. Today is National Pancake Day and the Show us yours is Show us your pancake.

6am:
This hour was full of fun. Courtney was tasting the new flavors from Leatherby's who are teaming up with 4 The Life of a Child event. Tina came across a tree down but the Emu's in a pen took the shot over as her and Dave had fun with them. Marianne had your Daily Joe and Mark did part 1 of Good Day in your Hood from Acampo. 

7am:
In this hour Ken talked to a young film maker and his actor who will be sharing their movie this weekend at Sac Comic Con "Journey to the Booth". Marianne talked to Dave Kovar from Kovar Martial arts who gave a quick demonstration and they are teaming up as one of the prizes for 4 The Life of a Child event. Hurry Drawing is on March 14, 2014. Ken talked to Sharon Vankin from CNet about the Apple Car Play Tina and Dave went back to visit the Emu's and Mark had breakfast at the Airport Cafe in Acampo.

8am:
In this hour Tina talked to a resume expert how to keep your resume current on Monster.com. Amy was visiting with a local man who invented his own Soda Pop. Cambi was at a Woodland School checking out their little in Classroom City. The Stowell family was in studio talking about their trip to the Oscar Red Carpet and the kids got into some "Fun" on the Good Day Set. Mark took his little talk show on the road to Lodi for Read Across America. Court's Tunes was played and the HOT #9amtopic was introduced. Lot's of comments came in on this topic today

9am:
In this hour with Julissa off or out ill Ken and Laura guided us through the 9amtopic and hour that featured. Mark reading as Poetry Guy at one Lodi Elementary School. Cambi was shopping at a Woodland school who set up a Cardinal City in their Classroom. Laura and Ken also chatted with Craig Ashton who answered Viewers Legal Questions. Ken had his Manly Minute today talking about big jerks in sport and no surprise Alex Rodriguez lead the way. Tina's final question today was What's in your freezer. 

Final Thoughts:
Today marked the day of Tina returning and it was a fun day with Tina and Dave. They came across a tree down but Emu's in a pen near the tree stole the live shot and got at least 3 selfies taken. 

Cambi was hanging out at a Woodland School this morning as they set up a mini city in their classroom for a different way to learn math but life skills as well. 

Courtney got to sample Leatherby's newest Ice Cream Flavors and Mark had breakfast before reading but it was the 9amtopic that sparked a debate today with a candy shop promoting Fat Tuesday by giving out free fudge to anyone who weighs 300+ lbs. This topic had 290 responses on Facebook alone and at least 20 on Twitter. In a rare decision I have included my response to the topic but you be your own judge on how you feel. As a person who was once obese I find this candy's shop promo to be very offensive Funny does not come in FAT! I don't care if it's a Fat Tuesday or Fat Saturday. I suffer from many other medical issues because I was heavy. I lost feeling in my feet, hands, legs, arms. . Is that funny? NO It's not. I have no one to blame but myself for it but Thank GOD for friends, and family like Good Day Sacramento and Doctors at UC Davis I've been given a second chance with Gastric Bypass Surgery. Going from 500 lbs in May of 2009 to 185 lbs Today #9amtopic

Also on today's show the Rancho Cordova Couple who won a trip to the Oscar's came in to share their story and brought the kids. As you know if you have kids it's not easy to have them sit still especially in a place with all kinds of equipment like the Good Day Studio. The kids headed over to the desk to see how it worked and even got to have a little fun. Some thought the kids didn't behave well but Julianna quickly pointed out the Good Day Staff had a lot of fun with the kids and invited them to appear on this weeks Mark at the Movies Saturday at 430am / Sunday at 11pm on CW31 and ReelzChannel at 8am on Saturday. In addition to the Good Day trip today and Mark at the Movies they also got passes to see Mr. PeaBody. So despite anyone thinking the kids misbehaved that is not correct. Good Day Sacramento is like family and they will treat you as such when they welcome you into their home. (Studio)
