The rain and Senator arrest ruled My58 but they did cover a couple of stories that caught my eye. One of which a local nurse and how she has dealt with being an amputee and Covered CA deadline fast approaching. By now we've all seen the horrific mudslide in Washington now Sac Fire and Sac Metro Search and Rescue are on the way to lend a hand. These group of Firefighters are some of the BEST of the BEST with many having gone to the 9/11 attacks to the World Trade Center and Pentagon/
Fox40:
Today on Fox Wine Institute was in the Fox40 Kitchen cooking up delicious meals with wine and talking about Down to Earth 2014 coming up in April. GateKeepers perform in Stockton this Sunday to raise money for the performing arts in today's Spotlight Stockton. Plus the rain and senator being arrested for possible corruption charges ruled much of the day.
Good Day Sacramento:
430/5am:
In this hour the rain returned as well as the snow so today's Show us your topic is Storm Beat Street Team photos as well as Show us your Little Leaguer. Mark had News of the Weird that included Corn Dogs be spilled on the roadway. The 5am Club members were introduced as well as Question of the Day. Show and Tell today featured Courtney and Cody, Cody had 2 one Klingon Beer and the second HIMYM Prop guy tweeting out pictures of props from the show including the cockamouse.
6am:
Weather ruled the 6am hour with rain and snow returning only giving us one segment that included Designer now author Rachel Zoe talking about her new book Living in Style.
7am:
In this much more busier hour than the 6am hour Mark was checking out Plastics being made from a Husband and Wife team in Gold River, CA All Plastics Fabrications makes plastics for everything including a Good Day Sign. Will Smith, owner shared his product and no not that "Will Smith" and his wife is not name Jada. Julissa was in the kitchen with Author Dina Guillen who wrote a series of cookbooks about Grill Planking. Courtney who was sitting at the desk guiding us through the hour with Ken also had a Check this out for females with Tank Essentials. These Tank tops "Fit" perfectly for all your "Girl" needs.
8am:
After a slow 6am hour and a pretty typical 7am hour the GREAT 8 Blew up. Mark continued with All Plastics. Cambi got tips on how to stand in the Batter's Box with Elite Athletics. Tina was getting party tips for girls with Mindy Cone. Teens Tunes was played with today's theme 90's. Courtney and Ken talked with Oak Hill Elementary school who donated clothes and shoes to another school in Louisiana and now the two school Skype together building friendships. Courtney and Tina learn Gold Panning from Good Day Director Tim. Cody got the short straw when he had to take over for an injured Amy and cover one of her stories from Live Oak from Cowboy BBQ. This Husband and wife WINNING team showed off all their BBQ tips and tricks and Cody had to take one for the team to taste it. Man your job doesn't SUCK at all. Today's #9amtopic was introduced and it was yet another HOT Button topic when a Christian school told a girl she wasn't Girly enough to attend their school so how far are too far for School Rules?
9am:
The 9am hour with Laura and Julissa guiding us through saw Cody try Cowboy BBQ Pizza from Cowboy BBQ in Live Oak. Mark was trying on dresses for the event tonight from WEAVE, Dress Barn, and Now 100.5 NOW That's a Dress. ALL Dresses sell for just $10. Cambi was getting tips from Elite Athletics in Roseville as they teach proper ways to train for Baseball including proper eating habits. SHE'S BACK Shawn L Brown aka the hair doctor along with Courtney surprise the Bradshaw Christian School Girls Basketball team with a complete makeover that will be taking place live on Good Day Weekend April 6, 2014. There's an App for that and that even includes 5 apps every guy needs according to Ken in his Manly Minute. The #9amtopic as of the time of this writing received over 200 comments on Facebook and at least a dozen or so more on Twitter. Due to BREAKING NEWS at the State Capital no final question of the day was asked.
Final Thoughts:
While all the stations covered the weather of the day and the arrest of the senator it was defiantly the story of the state of Washington receiving help from our local area Search and Rescue teams that caught my eye on My58 today.
Fox40 always seems to do a pretty good job in their Spotlight Stockton which they did today covering Performing Arts and the importance of it which we talked about on yesterday's Good Day Sacramento.
Speaking of which today's title comes from the BBQ, and Party treat segments that Good Day Sacramento featured. One thing is for sure we have some good local eateries and authors in our area.
First Julissa talking about BBQ planking then Cody winning the live shot of the day with Amy's injury having losses out on covering Cowboy BBQ. But we can't leave Tina out though she wasn't talking BBQ she was talking fun sweet treats with Mindy Cone that are not only fun to eat but make.
How GREAT was it to see the Hair Doctor Shawn Brown surprise the local high school basketball team? I love Shawn to death. So great seeing her up and around again. (Sorry no video posted on this segment at time of writing)
Wednesday is one of my favorite days on Good Day Sacramento. Not only is it the return of Cody who always has GREAT Show and Tells like he did today but its also Dishin with Tina day. One thing I left off the possible upcoming list of Dishin Days was Lori Wallace. My fault on that. Sorry.

The rain and Senator arrest ruled My58 but they did cover a couple of stories that caught my eye. One of which a local nurse and how she has dealt with being an amputee and Covered CA deadline fast approaching. By now we've all seen the horrific mudslide in Washington now Sac Fire and Sac Metro Search and Rescue are on the way to lend a hand. These group of Firefighters are some of the BEST of the BEST with many having gone to the 9/11 attacks to the World Trade Center and Pentagon/

Today on Fox Wine Institute was in the Fox40 Kitchen cooking up delicious meals with wine and talking about Down to Earth 2014 coming up in April. GateKeepers perform in Stockton this Sunday to raise money for the performing arts in today's Spotlight Stockton. Plus the rain and senator being arrested for possible corruption charges ruled much of the day.

In this hour the rain returned as well as the snow so today's Show us your topic is Storm Beat Street Team photos as well as Show us your Little Leaguer. Mark had News of the Weird that included Corn Dogs be spilled on the roadway. The 5am Club members were introduced as well as Question of the Day. Show and Tell today featured Courtney and Cody, Cody had 2 one Klingon Beer and the second HIMYM Prop guy tweeting out pictures of props from the show including the cockamouse.
6am:
Weather ruled the 6am hour with rain and snow returning only giving us one segment that included Designer now author Rachel Zoe talking about her new book Living in Style.
7am:
In this much more busier hour than the 6am hour Mark was checking out Plastics being made from a Husband and Wife team in Gold River, CA All Plastics Fabrications makes plastics for everything including a Good Day Sign. Will Smith, owner shared his product and no not that "Will Smith" and his wife is not name Jada. Julissa was in the kitchen with Author Dina Guillen who wrote a series of cookbooks about Grill Planking. Courtney who was sitting at the desk guiding us through the hour with Ken also had a Check this out for females with Tank Essentials. These Tank tops "Fit" perfectly for all your "Girl" needs.
8am:
After a slow 6am hour and a pretty typical 7am hour the GREAT 8 Blew up. Mark continued with All Plastics. Cambi got tips on how to stand in the Batter's Box with Elite Athletics. Tina was getting party tips for girls with Mindy Cone. Teens Tunes was played with today's theme 90's. Courtney and Ken talked with Oak Hill Elementary school who donated clothes and shoes to another school in Louisiana and now the two school Skype together building friendships. Courtney and Tina learn Gold Panning from Good Day Director Tim. Cody got the short straw when he had to take over for an injured Amy and cover one of her stories from Live Oak from Cowboy BBQ. This Husband and wife WINNING team showed off all their BBQ tips and tricks and Cody had to take one for the team to taste it. Man your job doesn't SUCK at all. Today's #9amtopic was introduced and it was yet another HOT Button topic when a Christian school told a girl she wasn't Girly enough to attend their school so how far are too far for School Rules?
9am:
The 9am hour with Laura and Julissa guiding us through saw Cody try Cowboy BBQ Pizza from Cowboy BBQ in Live Oak. Mark was trying on dresses for the event tonight from WEAVE, Dress Barn, and Now 100.5 NOW That's a Dress. ALL Dresses sell for just $10. Cambi was getting tips from Elite Athletics in Roseville as they teach proper ways to train for Baseball including proper eating habits. SHE'S BACK Shawn L Brown aka the hair doctor along with Courtney surprise the Bradshaw Christian School Girls Basketball team with a complete makeover that will be taking place live on Good Day Weekend April 6, 2014. There's an App for that and that even includes 5 apps every guy needs according to Ken in his Manly Minute. The #9amtopic as of the time of this writing received over 200 comments on Facebook and at least a dozen or so more on Twitter. Due to BREAKING NEWS at the State Capital no final question of the day was asked.
Final Thoughts:
While all the stations covered the weather of the day and the arrest of the senator it was defiantly the story of the state of Washington receiving help from our local area Search and Rescue teams that caught my eye on My58 today.
Fox40 always seems to do a pretty good job in their Spotlight Stockton which they did today covering Performing Arts and the importance of it which we talked about on yesterday's Good Day Sacramento.
Speaking of which today's title comes from the BBQ, and Party treat segments that Good Day Sacramento featured. One thing is for sure we have some good local eateries and authors in our area.
First Julissa talking about BBQ planking then Cody winning the live shot of the day with Amy's injury having losses out on covering Cowboy BBQ. But we can't leave Tina out though she wasn't talking BBQ she was talking fun sweet treats with Mindy Cone that are not only fun to eat but make.
How GREAT was it to see the Hair Doctor Shawn Brown surprise the local high school basketball team? I love Shawn to death. So great seeing her up and around again. (Sorry no video posted on this segment at time of writing)
Wednesday is one of my favorite days on Good Day Sacramento. Not only is it the return of Cody who always has GREAT Show and Tells like he did today but its also Dishin with Tina day. One thing I left off the possible upcoming list of Dishin Days was Lori Wallace. My fault on that. Sorry.
So today is now over and it's on to the next which will or should include.....
