Opening Statement:
Today I want to talk about life changing decisions. 
For those who don't know I made a decision in 2009 to live a happier healthier lifestyle by having Gastric Bypass Surgery. By far the best thing I've ever done. 
Each month I go to Bypass Support Group at UC Davis. The last meeting had me so frustrated I had to bite my tongue.  Two members stated they are not happy with the surgery. WHAT?  If you didn't want the surgery why did you get it? The surgery doesn't instantly make you thin you have to work hard at it. You have to give things up and know that part of your life is over. Do not let food control you, you control food.

My58:
Couple of stories from today on My58 Daffodil Hill is now open. I've been here once it is really pretty. Midtown Sacramento Residents want a Dog Park and schools drop crab feeds for gift wrapping events to raise money.


Fox40:
The Goblin Song is being filmed in Clarksburg and Luana previewed it. Bethany talked with Chris Johnson who made the Raman Noodle Cooker and is now working on the Macaroni and Cheese cooker. Paul talked about Chili and the cook off tomorrow night in Roseville and he talked Idol Recap. For the first time I agree with both of them saying MK and CJ both need to go but only 1 will and it should be MK who was awful. 

Good Day Sacramento:
430/5am:
In this hour throughout the hour on different segments the crew did a coin flip to determine who fills out the brackett. I even took part in this coin flip to become today's 5am club member. Marianne had her Daily list talking about wrong way to shampoo. The Show and Tell was also the coin flip bracket challenge. Today's Question was who do you want to win followed by a coin flip. Today's Show us yours is Incredible Kids for Incredible Kids Day. Notice the theme today?

6am:
The coin flip bracket challenge continued. Julissa was in Stockton checking out Instameet. Marianne's Daily Joe showed the amazing voices of Brian Hall singing Frozen in 21 different Disney voices. Melissa was in Rocklin checking out an Estate Sale. Doug the Car Czar talked about clearing headlights. 

7am:
The coin flips continued getting done with the Sweet 16 in this hour plus Ken and Mark talked with Colin and Ryan from Who's Line Is It Anyway. Julissa was in Stockton checking out the play/musical Avenue Q. Doug finished his DIY Cleaning of the headlight and it worked well for about $9. Melissa continued her preview of the Rocklin Estate Sale. Mark and Ken took part in a tour with the kids from Carnegie Middle School as they sit in on the show today. 

8am:
The Elite 8 and Final 4 are determined in the coin flip. The Blue Divas talked to Marianne and then performed. Cody on the Radio joined Phoebe aka Dress Fiend, WEAVE, Dress Barn and Mark to talk about the Dress event NOW that's a Dress. Sean was at the Sacramento Ballet checking out the upcoming performance of Carmina Burana. The 9amtopic was introduced sparing a topic of are fit people to intimidating? Court's Tunes was played with the theme of Glee Clubs. 

9am:
In this busy hour the Final coin flip to determine the NCAA Tournament winner was completed with Pitt winning. Mark was hanging with the Carnegie kids in studio. Mark also introduced us to the Blue Divas as they performed one more song. Melissa was in Elk Grove giving a preview of Taste from Elk Grove. Laura and Julissa learned how to can from Cow Girl Kitchen. Tina was with the chef from Meritage Resort making sliders perfect for your NCAA party. Cody was with the employees from Westin Hotel as they start a Wellness Program. It's Thursday so that means Gina from ThriftTown was doing another GREAT DIY Project making wreaths out of old books. Ken's Manly Minute was talking about 5 things a Bachelor needs. Tina's final question was what best describes you when you were an 8th grader. Spring Began and celebration ensued. 

Final Thoughts:
Today on My58 they talked about Daffodil Hill opening in Amador County. This is a GREAT place to take your Special Someone to have a nice couple of hours however if you are an allergy sufferer be prepared. 

On Fox each week they have Front Street Shelter or SPCA come in with a pet of the week, today they brought 3 cute puppies. 

Also on Thursday's Paul talks Idol recap. Today he and his guest got the ones who should be cut right. They both should be but MK has been the worst of the 2 throughout and needs to go. 

On Good Day Sacramento today it's not a science but it is the luck of a coin and how many make big decisions with heads or tails which is what they did to determine the NCAA champion. Mr. Buffet your Billion is safe. 

Also on Good Day Sacramento Julissa was in Stockton checking out Avenue Q. This puppet show is NOT for kids. 

Melissa went shopping at an Estate sale before getting her cooked pasta from the singing chef at Palermo's in Elk Grove for Taste of Elk Grove. While Melissa was doing that Sean was at Sacramento Ballet watching one cast member get rolled around on a plate. That made me dizzy. 

As you've seen in Special Announcements the Dress For $10 event is coming up next week with the last day to donate is tomorrow.
