Today is Friday and the fun has begun. In this hour Tina asked what is your favorite magazine. The 5am Club member was introduced. Show and Tell had Cody talking about his daughter trying to remove her own tooth. The Show Us your topic was Favorite Kids Outfits. Mark was in Lodi looking for Pets that can do tricks.
6am:
In this hour Mark continued with Perky Pet Performances from Lodi. Melissa was checking out Hybrid Fitness in Roseville where these 2 woman train men and woman in the arts of MMA fighting. Ken talked brackets and Elite 8 with KHTK 1140 Carmichael Dave and Keith Brooks . Courtney previewed a wedding dress event where you can get rentals for as low as $250.
7am:
In the 7am hour Perky Pet performances continued in Lodi with Mark S. Allen. Courtney previewed a wedding event this Sunday for both Brides and Grooms and one lucky winner on Sunday will have a prize package of a lifetime plus Good Day's own Julissa will fellow the lucky couple throughout the process. Tina went shopping for the Brown Bag Throwdown, the contestants will begin their battle in the 8am hour. Yesterday we met Don Schultz who makes drums. I didn't feel like they gave the story its proper due and apparently Good Day thought the same thing because Melissa was back getting the whole story. Thank you Good Day Now we know the whole story. Courtney was also getting job interview tips and tricks for your fashion look from Kate De Pointe.
8am:
A very busy 8am hour is highlighted by Ken and Cody talking to Jason Schwartzman about Grand Budapest Hotel and his memories of Disney and Jungle Cruise Skippers. Cody talked with a Disney legend Marty Sklar who has a book out and you can meet him tomorrow in Sacramento. We met the first of the 2 chefs from the Brown bag throwdown - Julian from Delta King takes on Adam from Water Boy. Mark continued with Perky Pet Performances. Melissa was in Rocklin checking out YSJ Trading Company who are looking for your clothes to put on consignment. The 9amtopic was introduced... It's only supposed to take a minute but___ takes forever.
9am:
Guiding us through the final hour of the show and today's #9amtopic Cody and Laura. In addition We met Chef Adam from Water Boy who is taking part in today's Brown Bag Throwdown. Cody and Laura talked to Marysville with a group of Ag Students for National Ag Day. Mark watched a Gecko jump.... Slowly. The winner of the Brown Bag Throwdown was Waterboy. Ken's Manly Minute was 5 of the BEST Rock n Roll Frontmen. Dance Party Song was Start Me Up.

Final Thoughts:
What a GREAT Day for the 3 shows today. First on My58 they talked about a Rocklin High School class winning a media competition and getting $10,000 for their school.

Fox40 also did well first the story I really liked was with Doug Lipp who wrote the book Disney U you can see him and Marty Sklar tomorrow at Stage Nine in Old Sacramento. The other story I liked was Prom Closet. We all know every girl should go to prom but some can't afford dresses. Well at Prom Closet they can help you and you can look like a Million Bucks. Idol recap showed Majesty exit.

Today on Good Day which should have the name changed to BEST Day. They had many fun topics as well as topics that help for your wedding, job interviews, earning money for clothes and a store going out of business. Not only that one of my favorite segments was back featuring Waterboy and Delta King chefs pairing off for Brown Bag Throwdown. These 2 heavy weights took the pre bought ingredients to create a masterpiece with Waterboy coming out on top.

Also on Good Day Sacramento Mark was in Lodi all morning hanging with pets doing tricks. But it wasn't til the final act of a pesky Gecko that stole the show with his little act.

As I said Good Day Sacramento should be renamed BEST Day today with so much they offered. Courtney talking with the Bridal store and Tuxedo Den was great because I can't wait to see who wins their giveaway.

Melissa giving the complete drum maker story was perfect. Thank you so much for doing that Good Day Sacramento. But Melissa also checked out 2 clothing shops as well as the Fitness Gym today making her very busy.

One of the funniest interviews I've seen was today on Good Day Sacramento with Cody and Ken when they talked to Jason Schwartzman about Grand Budapest Hotel, Jason's story about one of his trips to Disney was classic

Cody also talking to a Disney Legend, Marty Sklar was a huge highlight of the day not only for Cody but all lovers of Disney. I hope everyone gets a chance to meet him and Doug Lipp at Stage Nine this Saturday.

Ken's Manly Minute may have been one of the BEST EVER talking Rock Frontmen who included Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones. This also led into the Dance Party Friday song of Start Me Up so now we turn the controls over to Cody and Amy for the weekend shows full of fun. So with that Cody and Amy Start me up and let's get ready for the weekend.
