Fox40:
Viewers Voice: Art imitating life has some people outraged at Sac State. The display had two white men hanging from a tree, nooses around their necks. The artist, Christina Edwards is a senior at the university... she is also an African American woman. She says the purpose of the project was to bring to light social injustices and the issue of inequality. The university sees it differently, the president releasing a statement: "the university did not approve the display, and I want to assure everyone that I am working to address the multiple issues raised by this incident." Our Viewers Voice question: Did the art project depicting two men hanging in a tree cross the line?

NFL Scoreboard:
Cowboys choke away the win to Green Bay falling 37-36 after having a 23 point lead.
KC Chiefs Destroyed Oakland winning 56-31
Indianapolis rolled over on the Texans 25-3.
San Francisco continue their winning ways beating Tampa Bay 33-14
Seattle blanked the Giants 23-0
Buffalo came out on top over Jacksonville 27-20. Rookie QB EJ Manuel now has 11 TD passes which is the most of any Bills rookie QB.
Final Thoughts:
Before I get to my comments about the show I want to let all of you know why my title for today is #HiMom. Hi Mom comes from this photo...
My friend and one of my favorite players on the Buffalo Bills lost his mom over the weekend. While details are sketchy this simple phrase is to pay Tribute to Stevie Johnson & his family during their difficult time. I am also using it to pay tribute to everyone who has lost their mother. I can't even imagine what I would do without mine and almost losing her a couple of times when I was a kid I have learned to never take today for granted because tomorrow may never come. So with that said.... Stevie Johnson this is for you... #HiMom
Now on to the shows today. My58 had an interesting stroller story all moms should really check out.... See video. The other story though it was covered on all 3 stations was the potential of Lottery reaching $1 BILLION with a B. I'm pretty sure I could make some people pretty happy with that.
Fox had some good stories today as well. One of the segments I like is Don't be that Guy because we all know "That Guy". The other was Amanda from Party Concierge with some great decorating ideas.
Good Day Sacramento kept the Christmas Theme going with a few segments but before we get there I found it very interesting with the making of pasta.
I love Chef Mason, from today's Breakfast at your place. I just wish he'd come out of his shell.... Says no one. That kid has a bright future if not in cooking then in comedy but I'm pretty sure he's got a very bright future in the cooking industry. Try to help his school out if you can. Go to his website for more details.
The #9amtopic was a little touchy but the GREAT viewers really kept their comments TV friendly and the crew did a good job monitoring those.
I'm amazed at how many creative people we have in the area. Those Gingerbread homes, trains, cars, and more looked pretty awesome.
Melissa went surfing with Santa while getting her picture taken for the holiday made some pretty funny segments.
I am loving the Wrap it up segment. Today Melissa learned French with videos.
I am also enjoying the 12 days of Thriftmas with Gina from ThriftTown.
Amy went to Hair Wars Holiday Edition and got made into a present on top of her head. I felt like Laura & Ju picked the right winner from Hair Gone Wild. The wreath hair was pretty amazing.
Finally did I miss something today? Is their an Italian thing going on today? Good Day Sacramento learned how to make it from Americano Restaurant, Fox ate Italian French Toast and I've been seeing pictures of pasta all morning long. So is it Pasta Day?
Remember to push for #CodytoPasadena and #HiMom
I'll see you tomorrow in Today in the News....
