With apologies to my readers... Yesterday as I was ready to post, the news of the death of Nelson Mandela broke and it was too late to pay tribute to a GREAT man. A man who changed the world for the better, A man who didn't just fight for those in South Africa but the world. He was a legend and shall remain a legend and a part of a history. He did so much for common people and touch so many lives. He was age 44 went he went to jail fighting for the people and released at age 71. Mr. Mandela met so many of our sports heroes as well as entertainers like Oprah and Michael Jackson.... Yesterday we lost GREATNESS but we Gained an Angel with Wings. Rest in Peace My Good Man... We danced into the weekend and today we had help from The Fab Four. Yes, they are the BEST Beatle Tribute Band EVER but more on their Good Day Sacramento performance later.
My58/KCRA held their annual Chips For Kids Toy Drive Event at Cal Expo. This is one of the BEST events at Christmas time. All the toys donated go for a GREAT cause and today they received a gift of 700 bikes for kids. So cool. Feel bad for all those standing outside in these cold temps though.
Zohreen was my favorite today on Fox40. She had some cool segments but perhaps the BEST one was touring the Governors Mansion and live tweeting it with photos. The band One Last Request sounded good also. I kinda felt like they sounded a little Blues Travelers.
Good Day Sacramento sent Jason to Dell'Osso Family Farm for holiday fun. Anytime Jason does a live shot its going to be classic Good Day Sacramento TV. Melissa checked out new exercise equipment, Courtney gave us cool gift ideas with a vintage feel. Melissa & Kristin gave us winter tips for our cars. Cody, and Laura brought us the cold weather possible snowflake forecast. Nancy Bradley stopped by to give viewers advice. But perhaps the best part of the show today was The Fab Four. I have only heard great things about this band until over the summer they appeared on KVIE 6 for a special concert in which they promoted their show for tonight at Crest Theatre. I was so impressed by how well they sounded and the effort they put into their work I could not wait to hear more. Then when I heard about their appearance on Good Day Sacramento it was a dream come true. These guys are the new Beatles. I wish I had a chance to speak with them because I have so many questions. They sounded great and it was a nice way to dance into the weekend with Cody and Amy who we welcome back from vacation. See you tomorrow at 7am.
By the way nothing official yet but it looks like the # for tomorrow Championship game with Auburn is #CodyShouldBeThere. Again this is not yet official so tune Into Good Day Sacramento tomorrow for the final word from Cody.

Final Thought:
We danced into the weekend and today we had help from The Fab Four. Yes, they are the BEST Beatle Tribute Band EVER but more on their Good Day Sacramento performance later.
My58/KCRA held their annual Chips For Kids Toy Drive Event at Cal Expo. This is one of the BEST events at Christmas time. All the toys donated go for a GREAT cause and today they received a gift of 700 bikes for kids. So cool. Feel bad for all those standing outside in these cold temps though.
Zohreen was my favorite today on Fox40. She had some cool segments but perhaps the BEST one was touring the Governors Mansion and live tweeting it with photos. The band One Last Request sounded good also. I kinda felt like they sounded a little Blues Travelers.
Good Day Sacramento sent Jason to Dell'Osso Family Farm for holiday fun. Anytime Jason does a live shot its going to be classic Good Day Sacramento TV. Melissa checked out new exercise equipment, Courtney gave us cool gift ideas with a vintage feel. Melissa & Kristin gave us winter tips for our cars. Cody, and Laura brought us the cold weather possible snowflake forecast. Nancy Bradley stopped by to give viewers advice. But perhaps the best part of the show today was The Fab Four. I have only heard great things about this band until over the summer they appeared on KVIE 6 for a special concert in which they promoted their show for tonight at Crest Theatre. I was so impressed by how well they sounded and the effort they put into their work I could not wait to hear more. Then when I heard about their appearance on Good Day Sacramento it was a dream come true. These guys are the new Beatles. I wish I had a chance to speak with them because I have so many questions. They sounded great and it was a nice way to dance into the weekend with Cody and Amy who we welcome back from vacation. See you tomorrow at 7am.
By the way nothing official yet but it looks like the # for tomorrow Championship game with Auburn is #CodyShouldBeThere. Again this is not yet official so tune Into Good Day Sacramento tomorrow for the final word from Cody.
