Final Thoughts:
It was a record setting Thanksgiving at the theater for Hunger Games and Frozen but before getting to to that I want to talk about the events that occurred on Saturday with the loss of actor Paul Walker. As you know by now star of the Fast & Furious movies was Tragically lost in a vehicle accident along with his friend and driver of the car which they traveled in. At first like many it had the look and feel of a hoax because of the headlines being written. An hour or so after these reports Paul's team released a statement confirming his death. Shocked as everyone and sadden by the loss. What is shocking to me is Paul is best known for his roles in Fast & Furious but he has been in a lot of films such as Varsity Blues, Pleasantville and Monster in the Closet just to name a few. Fast & Furious 6 releases on Blu Ray/DVD on December 10 to honor Paul we the fans should purchase it. Earlier today Mark S. Allen appeared on Good Day Sacramento via Skype to talk about his times talking to Paul. Here is that interview. http://gooddaysacramento.cbslocal.com/video/9587655-mark-s-allen-remembers-paul-walker/
Hunger Games & Frozen set Thanksgiving weekend records at the box office and they ruled Mark at the Movies this week as well. The show was a good show and I really enjoyed the takes of both Mark & Anna but perhaps the highlight came when Mike broke into song during his rant.
With that I will see you at the movies and next week for another edition of Mark at the Movies.
