Today in this Special Edition of Today in the News we will cover how Good Day Sacramento & Fox40 will celebrate the day heading into Santa's big night.

Monday Night Football:
San Francisco took on the Atlanta Falcons as they closed the old stick. After 54 years Candlestick Park will be tore down and the 49'ers will move into Levi Stadium. The two teams gave us a great game. Full of drama and excitement to have the crowd go wild when SF had a pick 6 and seal the deal for yet another Playoff ticket. The went on to beat Atlanta 34-24.

Final Thoughts:
'twas the day before Christmas all across the land Fox40 spread the cheer and the heartland. Good Day Sacramento had the music and Santa Claus too. Here's what took place Today in the News.
Fox talked about blinged out bathtubs for dogs but these are for the rich and famous.
Santa delivered to Kaiser Roseville making kids happy.
The American Muslim Voice in Sacramento was dishing up meals and teaching about culture and breaking stereotypes.
On Good Day Sacramento today Mark & Ken ran the desk so you know the funny meter was set on level HIGH but add in Mark's brother Steve and that level is off the chart.
Ken shared 2 things in Show&tell the first how to track Santa tonight and then his son Malcolm singing Christmas songs.
Steve did quite a bit of shopping at 7-11 today including finding RC Helicopters.
Tina checked out one Sacramento family who decorates the neighborhood with 400 luminary lights and then she went last minute shopping at Macy's at Country Club. I had no idea that was still an inside mall.
Kristin was playing in Hydrographics paint water which was pretty cool watching the process how it is done.
Courtney checked out a local group putting on the Nutcracker tonight and tomorrow.
Ken/Mark introduced us to Asante Children’s Choir. This group was amazing.
A Manteca Ford Dealer gave back to the community with FREE breakfast and then Santa made one special girls day with a new bike.
Santa stopped by for a couple of segments to take phone calls.
On the 12th Day of Thriftmas Gina from ThriftTown made cards with old book pages.
Wrap it up with Ju saw a new toothbrush for kids and when Melissa put her kids to the test it was a success.
Amy visited Santa PAWS in Lincoln who are donating items.
Of course Ken delivered on another Manly Minute to close out the show.
That concludes today's show. Tomorrow will be an exclusive Good Day Sacramento post. The show is in from 7-9am so the Christmas Day post will be put up sometime during the day but time is unknown because I will be with family following the show.
