New Next Week:

Final Thoughts:
This weeks Mark at the Movies was the final show of 2014 and it was a Jammie Party. Mark even went back to A Christmas Story days and relived Ralphie in the Pink Bunny Suit. This week had a nice mix of What's new and Movies expected to do well in Awards Season. The Hobbit who was last weeks #1 had Sean Evans from Back to the Movies join Mark in the Retro Reel Review. Sean always does a great job with Mark and is very knowledgeable.
Leading off with what's News this week Mark along with Rachel, Alexa, Dionna, Heather, Short-E and Jordyn all talked about Into the Woods with Anna leading with the interviews including Anna Kendrick and Chris Pine. Rachel LOVES this movie.
They also talked briefly about Unbroken partly because Angelina Jolie didn't do a lot of press for the movie so Mark had to flash back to Tomb Raider Days to talk to her.
The other new movie talked about this week was The Gambler with Mark Wahlberg. Though I have yet to this movie looks to be very good and Mark really enjoyed it.
The final new movie talked about was Big Eyes and like the box office numbers I got the feeling the movie itself was going to be a bit of a struggle though Mark did share a moment with Director Tim Burton when Mark presented him with a Pee Wee's Big Adventure Jacket.
As I said the new year is also the start of Award Season and 3 movies that could do very well are...
The Theory of Everything starring Eddie Redmayne, The Imitation Game starring Keira Knightley and Benedict Cumberbatch. These 2 movies had Mark sit down with the respective actors/actresses in these 2 movies and Rachel sat down with Michael Keaton from Birdman to round out the 3 movies that should do well during Award Season. Each of the movies could produce the winner in Best Actor. My guess would be Michael Keaton would win this category.
This was the last show of the year as I said so I want to take the next couple of minutes saying Thank You to Mark S. Allen and the ENTIRE Cast and crew of Mark at the Movies. We said goodbye to some and hello to others during the course of the year. It's been a GREAT year for Mark and everyone at Mark at the Movies and if all indications are true 2015 will be bigger. I love each and everyone at Mark at the Movies and wish all of them success in life during and after their time is up on the show. I am so grateful for everyone who has accepted me into this family and I appreciate each of you and love all of you.
With that said I will see you at the movies.... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
