As we are only 1 week away before Christmas Mark woke up in Ikea, Jason went shopping in Vacaville, Cody went to the movies and so much more in this edition of The Best Part of Waking Up... Today in the News.... 



Mark’s Ikea Sleepover
As the 24 hours of Night at Ikea Continued we found Mark fast asleep only to wake up in a Bunny suit ala The Christmas Story.however we also woke up to Cody in his Dreidel Sweater to celebrate Hanukkah. Though Mark is now gone you can still Buy / Donate a soft toy to UC Davis Children’s Hospital as $1 goes to UNICEF and Save the Children Now through January 3rd. Mark also ate a lot of meatballs while there. His final count was 100.5 As the final donations came in the Atomic Angels dropped off a bag full.

For those of you who know Amber Coppedge, you know that she is one of the most selfless, generous people on the planet. You know that she will do anything to help anybody at anytime. She volunteers her time to help raise money & awareness for many different causes, serves food to the homeless, donates her time to coach soccer and volunteers for many different committees within the Sacramento Association of Realtors. She is a hardworking, driven mother of two beautiful children ages 14 & 11. She is spunky and sassy and gives 100% in anything and everything that she does.
 

Well friends, it is now our turn to help Amber.
 

Some of you may know that Amber has been battling cancer for over 2 years. She was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer in 2012 at the young age of 31, and began treatment immediately. At the time, she did not have health insurance and was forced to pay out of pocket for her medical expenses. Amber has paid hundreds of thousands of dollars since being diagnosed, for her cancer related expenses. Recently, she found out she will need immediate surgery to remove masses that the doctors have located. She will soon thereafter begin another round of chemotherapy and radiation treatment. Unfortunately, her health insurance will not cover the majority of these expenses, and she will be faced with astronomical debt.
 

We are asking for donations for Amber and her family, to help cover medical and living expenses while she is unable to work.
Any support you are able to offer for Amber is very much appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
