Quick Thought:
Today's show while good, took on a different feel with no Cody and Melissa. Cambi, Tina, Lori and Amy did a nice job and kept the laughs coming all 4 hours but it was still not the same weekend show we all have come known to love week after week. 

So what did happen today on Good Day Weekend?.... 

Recap:

7am:
This hour was Good Day Light. Why do I say that, whether it was Cody not being in today or not this hour was very light in content. The show us yours was a repeat from yesterday with tattoo's but for the ladies Adam Levine and David Beckham got shown a couple of times. The #JustCurious question was What is the oldest thing in your DVR. Tina was at viewer Scott Reynolds home for a 2 for Recipes from Home with Candy Bacon and Bread Pudding. Cambi was at Wild Bills Tattoo a-thon checking out all he is doing for UC Davis Children's Hospital. 

8am:
The GREAT 8 got better from the 7am hour. This hour Tina finished Recipe's from home and gave the bacon the Booty Pop approval. Cambi continued from Wild Bills Tattoo a-thon. Lori and Amy shared duties talking to Ray Cordell about Airborne Bunny, they also talked to a local Softball group having a rummage sale in Elk Grove today. and Gabe from Travelzoo had some GREAT travel idea's. Be s8ure to use the Travelzoo link for those deals or you will not get them. Now 2 hours in Melissa is also absent from the show today. Hoping her and or the kids are not fighting this illness. 

9am:
Today in the 9am hour Tina was checking out Ernesto's for National Margarita Day but it was Cambi who enjoyed watching bartender Ricardo. Cambi was checking out what's for breakfast at the Pitt Stop in Sacramento, Gabe was back with more Travelzoo ideas. Our FAVORITE Fashion Blogger, Phoebe aka The Dress Fiend was in Studio for Expecting Mom's Edition of Carabba on the Catwalk. Youtube Mom was also back with what everyone should have in their closet. Singer Angelique was in studio singing a beautiful Alicia Keys song "New York"

10am:
In this hour Amy talked to Chris about his metal rose art. These one of a kind pieces are beautiful and would make for a GREAT gift for Mothers Day or Easter. Cambi was bowling with some awesome people who have disabilities in Elk Grove. Singer/Songwriter Angelique performed another song. I really liked this song that she performed. National Anthem Auditions for River Cats. Audrey is a judge this year but Producer Margaret Stewart auditioned again this year. Mike on the Mic also announced River Cats Fan event will be March 9th. Tina talked to Jennifer and long time GI Joe Collector now SteamPunk costume accessories maker. Fred is extremely good at taking things and making them look incredibly cool with his unique customizable ability. Fred is well known in the GI Joe world for his Western figures, Escape from New York/LA as well as Sean Connery figures from the Rock and Indiana Jones. http://kellysheroes.webs.com/
Kevin was in Elk Grove at the Franklin Library for a Lego Block Party event. This event takes place twice a month at the Library. Lori had her Hot Headlines where she talked about a possible Space Jam that would include LeBron James.

Final Thoughts:
Today's show started slow but had a nice Good Day Sacramento finish to it. Not having Cody and Melissa made for an interesting day for all those at Good Day Sacramento with it being such shorthanded. 

Angelique was amazing and I loved her voice. 
Though I did not see my friend Fred in person it was nice to see him talk with Tina regarding the Steampunk Emporium. 
I love seeing Phoebe who is so smart when it comes to fashion and saving money. 
The Lego block party is pretty cool as well as the bowling with disabilities and of course it's always nice to see Recipes from home and What's for breakfast. 
Gabe always has some great Travelzoo ideas as well. 
Like I said it started slow but had a nice finish to it. 
Everyone wishes Cody and Melissa a speedy recovery with hopes they are back tomorrow but no rushing back.
