Today's Recap:
Nha was learning more about a Veteran's Housing Project Home Aid Sacramento and Volunteers of America. Nha was with Fiona Castleton who has scoliosis but isn’t letting it stop her from living an active life. She recently *unofficially beat the world record for pushups (302 without leaving the plank position) She did well over 500.



Julissa talked with Julian Perrigo one of the contestants in the Food Network’s Cake Wars Christmas Edition that airs on Monday. Julissa was with Tommy Edwards and family learning more about the PB&J Brigade who are serving Homeless with 250 PB&J Sandwiches and more for Thanksgiving.


Marianne and Cody was with Mariah Looney learning more about Project GIA (Girls in Action) a community outreach organization focused on the empowerment of girls and young women in the Stockton/surrounding area that is helping teach young girls the importance of empowering each other and living a positive life are hosting an art show that has art by women.


This Thanksgiving you can make a difference in the lives of those in need by helping families who are struggling and lack the resources to have a thanksgiving dinner. Today on Good Day Kevin was at Roseville Toyota with Placer Food Bank where you can make a difference by dropping off a frozen turkey or monetary donation from 7am-2pm and help make thanksgiving possible for every family in our community to enjoy a thanksgiving meal.



Bethany was with Red Bull America’s top Parkour Athletes who are invited to compete in a nationwide digital battle. Ten teams will create videos showcasing their home cities to earn fan votes. ( Move To Inspire)




Melissa was with Jason Resler a Navy veteran of Operation Desert Storm also a national touring stand-up comic is back in Sacramento for a one-night-only benefit for veterans and families in need for his shows Tonight 8 and 9:45 at Ooley Theater Sacramento. Not only Healthy and Delicious The Peach Cafe in Folsom will be your next go-to spot. Today Melissa was checking out the menu. Melissa was at the Historic Folsom Ice Rink that is now open – January 16th, 2017
