Cambi was at The Studio Martial Arts and Fitness learning more a FREE Thanksgiving Bootcamp taking place on Friday Nov 25th with a Canned Food Item. Cambi was at Sacramento Children's Home learning more about LUXE for Live formal Event to benefit the Children's Home brought to you by PINC Sacramento Dec 3rd. Cambi was at Carrie Bmac Hair an NEW Salon in East Sacramento helping everyone get ready for their family photos by doing their hair.




Dave was at Sac International Airport as the Wednesday before Thanksgiving is one of the busiest travel days of the year. Dave was with Paralympic Athlete Jamie Whitmore who is a force to be reckoned with. 



Julissa was out at Bobbi and Mike checking out their Holiday Decorations that includes 300 Santas and a 15 foot tree. Ryan from Nerds on Call joined Julissa to talk about with many retailers moving Black Friday Online Ryan showed how to find them.


 
Courtney had today's Hollywood Headlines. Courtney was Checking Out Stadium Blueprints who make fun gifts for those sports lovers on your list. Courtney was with Dance Elite All Stars cast of Nutcracker Case of Missing Drosselmeyer getting a preview of the Nutcracker with a twist, complete with a crime boss, a private eye, and a missing toymaker.

The Sac County Sheriff’s Canine Detail is out with its annual calendar, to raise operating funds for this specialized unit today Marianne was meeting the handlers and their Canines featured in the 2017 Calendar. 



Gabe Saglie from Travelzoo joined Ken and Bethany to talk about Gift ideas of Travels with tips for traveling. Ken introduced The River City High School Jazz Band to the Good Day Stage as the Syncopating Sea Monkeys performed in efforts of getting help getting to New Orleans to explore the Birthplace of Jazz and they have started a GoFundMe Page. 



Cody had News from Space. Ryan from Nerds on Call joined Cody to talk about how to use technology to score the best deals on Black Friday. Cody was Teletubbies as they are coming  back on Nick Jr Weekdays.

Dave: Thanksgiving Travel Fun
Today on Good Day Dave was at Sac International Airport as the Wednesday before Thanksgiving is one of the busiest travel days of the year. Traffic at SMF is up 5 percent over last year, which means the airport will serve 40,000 more passengers this month than November of 2015. That translates to about 28,000 passengers hopping onto or off an airplane in November and a more than that today.

Dave: Paralympic Athlete
Today on Good Day Dave was with Paralympic Athlete Jamie Whitmore who is a force to be reckoned with. Jamie began cycling professionally in 2001, where she won 37 career victories, including six national titles and world titles. But in 2008, she learned that she had a rare form of cancer, leaving her fighting for her life. Three years after her diagnosis, she was cancer free and the mother of twin boys, born in January 2010. She won her first Paralympic national title in 2012, and has since become of the top female cyclists in the world. And so it’s no big surprise this year she came back from Rio with 2 medals, a gold and silver, in cycling.
