Shelter Dogs to USAR Members
From shelter dogs to saving lives in a Major Disasters Today on Good Day Kristin showed how these amazing USAR Dogs work. USAR (urban search and rescue dogs) — most of them rescue dogs themselves who were stuck in shelters – now working as search and rescue dogs in disaster zones and have become national and invaluable assets.

Vets Help Dog Walk Again
UC Davis Veterinary Neurologists Karen Vernau help a paralyzed dog actually walk again! Today on Good Day Nha introduced us to this adorable pooch “Daisy” and saw how the UC Davis vet team brought her to her feet (or paws)! Also Daisy is in need of a permanent home. What a GREAT Show it was today. As National Puppy Day was celebrated Nha and Kristin had awesome stories about dogs. I will get those shortly. First Breakfast at your place was back and today Mark teamed up with Tony Park and Rivers Edge Cafe to supply breakfast to one East Sacramento Family. It was a great family and well deserved.



If you've ever bought something and then didn't think you had enough to wear with it think again. Kachet Jackson aka Lipstick Giraffe was back in studio with Courtney showing Director Rosa some fashion tips. Rosa very beautiful already got even more stunning with Kachet help.



Today's show was manly about dogs that saw some cute puppies in today's Show Us Yours as well as Camera Guy Dave sending a pic of his 2 dogs watching and playing Court's Tunes. In addition to that if you are into Alternative medicine now your dog can be too and Marianne talked with an expert.



As I said Kristin and Nha had some awesome Dog stories today. Starting with Nha she was at UC Davis Vet where Dr.  Karen Vernau as they helped Daisy the Dog back to health and now Daisy. Daisy now needs a good loving home and you can help. See Nha's complete Story. Following Nha's visit with Daisy Nha checked out the UC Davis Vet Blood Bank which is the largest West of the Mississippi where Dozer was donating blood.



STORY OF THE DAY!!!!
Kristin was with Sac Fire USAR Team. Urban Search and Rescue where Crockett was getting training on how to search for victims trapped in rubble. Kristin herself got trapped in rubble and needed Crockett's help. The rest of the story was one of amazement and heartwrenching. words cannot describe the action.
