Ju/Laura: Talk to Nicole about a Prom for Special Needs Teens
For many high school students, the highlight of their young student lives is their prom. From the pre-dance festivities to the pictures, prom is something many kids and adults never forget. Today we’re teaming up with the Junior League of San Joaquin County for their “Festivale” that allows adults, ages 18 to 22, with special needs to finally have their prom and take those school pictures that have become such a rite of passage for high school.

Follow up photos from Sunday:

Little E Meets Velvet E:
NFL Sunday:
Oakland falls to Philadelphia 49-20 behind 7 TD passes from Nick Foles.
Dallas gets by Minnesota 27-23.
Seattle struggled against Tampa Bay but won in overtime 27-24.
San Francisco Bye
What could have been the shock in NFL the 8-0 Kansas City Chiefs traveled to Western New York to take on the Buffalo Bills who was starting their 3rd QB of the season due to injury. It wasn't so much that the the Bills lost but by the way they lost. Not giving up an offensive TD the Chiefs scored 3 ways on defense. 1 was a pick 6 for 100 yards and another by fumble recovery. KC improved to 9-0 with the 23-13.
Sunday Night Football:
This game looked to be all Houston until the halftime. It was then, the game changed and the Texans head coach collapsed on the field. The Colts came all the way back to win 27-24 but the hearts & minds are with the Texans, Coach Kubiak and their team.
Final Thoughts:
Before getting to the events of today's shows I want to address one topic covered on Fox40 today. The chef making the chicken balls today was very confusing. Though he was not all to blame. Paul did an awful job interviewing him. It was clear the chef was nervous when he would forget what he was saying. The other thing confusing was why would you promote an event happening in June of 2014 when we are in early November of 2013? I don't understand the segment and I apologize for my lack of knowledge.
The rest of the Fox show was fine. Bethany was missed but Zohreen & Sabrina did a nice job.
My58 did a good job today as well.
Before getting to Good Day Sacramento all 3 stations covered the Fish Hatchery story plus My58 cooked fish made for a very fishy day.
Good Day Sacramento: One word comes to mind when it comes to not only your show today but in general...... Winner!!! Throughout the day you had good fun topics. Amy being in Napa taking the Mondavi tour was pretty cool. I loved that home. Mark & Jason what can be said that hasn't already. Your tap dancing segments only get better. I can't wait to see the end on Thursday. The other cool topic I really liked was the Turlock Fire Museum. I love stuff like this plus being a firefighter family gives it special meaning. In addition to these each hour is unique as always and it felt like the show flew by. Ratings for today 3. Fox40 the cooking segment ruined it today. 2. My58 because Fox fell to #3. 1. Good Day Sacramento because you know what your viewers went and you deliver each and everyday. Are they always perfect....? No but neither is anyone else and you make my bad days better.
Until tomorrow have a great day.
