Opening Statement:
This opening statement will be a soap box statement but first yesterday as I was getting ready to post the story broke of Fox40's Zohreen would be leaving the comforts of the studio and go into the field as a reporter. For those familiar with Sean Bennett, Kristin Marshall etc. she will be covering stories like accidents, murders, Kings, news at the Capital and more. While for my money I liked her in the studio she will do a GREAT job covering these stories. You also see Sean and Kristin cover cool stories for Good Day Sacramento like School events, Pets and things, Zohreen will do that from time to time as well. Good Luck and stay safe out there.
SOAP BOX ALERT:
I am sick. I am sick of all the bullying that has been occurring in our world. The other night a cheerleader I think in Texas who was being bullied fought back against her attackers.... Good for her. Usually you hear of fans from sports teams try to online bully when their team loses by threatening their lives or something stupid, but what you don't usually hear of are teammates doing that to teammates until now. Such is the case with Miami Dolphin player Richie Incognito who is a bad dude to begin with but now he is a flat pig in my opinion. How could you be such a loser to the point of making threats to a teammate but then the other part of the story that bothers me is how the team just let it go on and get to the point it is now. This does not just happen in in High School, NFL, and all sports but it happens to media personnel too. Now I just read everyone's favorite receptionist turned gossip queen may have been bullied on the phone from a caller. I have one thing to say for those who bully.... STOP IT!!!! You are not the boss of anyone. You are a coward and a punk. Stop bullying people who do their jobs, entertain us, and kids who are easy targets. I am putting this plea and challenge out to ALL media. Please do a series on this topic. Run it for 3-5 days but cover all angles. We as a society need to STOP IT!!! We need to get the word out before we lose innocent people because they cannot handle the stress, depression, and all things that come with be bullied.How do we stop this? Education. Education starts at home and parents need to set examples to their kids and not bully others and teach them right from wrong. Yes, it would be nice to learn from our educators as well but lets be honest. It's hard being a teacher in today's world. They have a hard enough time getting through all they have to do during the course of a school day. Our government also needs to help. Stop cutting education and mental health benefits and put it to use to end this horrible type of attack. I know I'm just on a soap box but I don't want to see any of my friends succumb to this nor do I want to see or hear of young people acting out by hurting themselves or others. As far as Richie he needs to live up to his last name and go Incognito....

Monday Night Football:
The Chicago Bears traveled to Green Bay to take on the Packers. Early on in the game the Packers lost Chico, CA native Arron Rodgers to a shoulder injury and did not return. As of 10am PST Aaron has a small fracture of the collarbone and will miss about 3 weeks. The Packers would fall to the Bears 27-20.

My 58 felt very newsy today but they did talk about much of the same topics the others did. The casino opening in Rohnert Park, catalytic converter safety program & Amgen Tour possibly returning to Sacramento seemed to be the hot topics.
Fox40 did a really good job today with a lot of content. Zohreen did well out in the field I thought as well. I thought the DIY project was pretty cool also that Sabrina presented.
Sorry I'm a little shaken writing this at the moment. I was a witness to a robbery at a phone store.
Good Day Sacramento did a excellent job today. First with Amy at Hair Wars. These amazing hair designers do work of art. Mark had a couple of great live shots with the first being at Chucks in Stockton. It made it fun because the regulars got to see Mark in a wetsuit as he prepares for his Alcatraz swim. His other live shot was a voice of an angel with the McDonalds employee trying to win the singing competition PLEASE VOTE ERICA FROM STOCKTON!!!!
I found that Good Day Sacramento had the best show today of the 3 as always. But Fox did a nice job to finish in the #2 spot and My58 get third for the day.
What to look forward to tomorrow on Good Day Sacramento... Cody returns. Tina is Dishin with Tina at The Place in Roseville. Monday Night Football:
The Chicago Bears traveled to Green Bay to take on the Packers. Early on in the game the Packers lost Chico, CA native Arron Rodgers to a shoulder injury and did not return. As of 10am PST Aaron has a small fracture of the collarbone and will miss about 3 weeks. The Packers would fall to the Bears 27-20.

My 58 felt very newsy today but they did talk about much of the same topics the others did. The casino opening in Rohnert Park, catalytic converter safety program & Amgen Tour possibly returning to Sacramento seemed to be the hot topics.
Fox40 did a really good job today with a lot of content. Zohreen did well out in the field I thought as well. I thought the DIY project was pretty cool also that Sabrina presented.
Sorry I'm a little shaken writing this at the moment. I was a witness to a robbery at a phone store.
Good Day Sacramento did a excellent job today. First with Amy at Hair Wars. These amazing hair designers do work of art. Mark had a couple of great live shots with the first being at Chucks in Stockton. It made it fun because the regulars got to see Mark in a wetsuit as he prepares for his Alcatraz swim. His other live shot was a voice of an angel with the McDonalds employee trying to win the singing competition PLEASE VOTE ERICA FROM STOCKTON!!!!
I found that Good Day Sacramento had the best show today of the 3 as always. But Fox did a nice job to finish in the #2 spot and My58 get third for the day.
What to look forward to tomorrow on Good Day Sacramento... Cody returns. Tina is Dishin with Tina at The Place in Roseville.
