Elk Grove was too much for Monterey Trail winning 35-19.
Sheldon Vs. Jesuit. It's senior night at Sheldon High School and its not even sponsored by Denny's. All the senior cheerleaders and football team was honored before the game. After a fumble recovery Sheldon goes down to score on a Merker TD pass to #9. 7-0. After another fumble Sheldon takes it up the middle with #21 14-0 Sheldon. Long TD pass from #19 to #10 of Jesuit 14-7. Jesuit QB #19 runs for a 71 yard score. 14-14. Sheldon drives down field and gives it to #21 up the middle 21-14 Sheldon. Jesuit #19 has a run of 49 yards for a score. 21-21 after 1. Merker scampers in from the one on a QB keeper 27-21 Sheldon after extra point was missed. Jesuit #35 takes it up the middle for 29 yards and TD. Extra point was also missed 27-27. Again #35 goes up the middle 34-27 Jesuit. At the half Jesuit led Sheldon 34-21. Jesuit leads the scoring off with a 1 yard run by #19 to make it 41-27. Merker to #18 for a bomb. 41-34 Jesuit. Jesuit #35 runs 60 yards for a quick score 48-34 Jesuit. #19 keeps it for 40 yards for yet another score to end the 3rd with a score of Jesuit 55 Sheldon 34. Jesuit #19 signal handily killed Sheldon on yet another run from 14 yards to make it 62-34 Jesuit. Merker runs from 21 out for score. Extra point missed 62-40 Jesuit. Jesuit adds to their lead with 24 yard run by #36 making the score 69-40. Sheldon falls 69-40 to Jesuit.
In a rare Friday night game USC Trojans traveled to Corvallis OR to take on Oregon State Beavers. Since the firing of Lane Kiffen USC has played better and that was the case Friday night as they decked a blue to OSU 31-14.

Today was a fun show but had a couple of series topics. The first being the group raising money for the only surviving member of the family who continues to fight for his life while he lost his mom & dad and 4 siblings in a drunk driving accident a couple of weeks ago. The other was of the Roseville Firefighters raising money and awareness for MDA in Fill the Boot. Just when you thought all the tear jerky moments were over oh no Cody and Amy hit us with the Extra Gum commercial.
I thought Neda did an outstanding job at the yard sale and she made slashing prices fun at the Estate sale. Kevin did A GREAT Job speaking with the firefighters and the other special guest for MDA. Kevin also did great playing the harmonica and his other 2 life shots. Tina always brings the fun like she did today with yet another serious message not mentioned in my first paragraph. My Sisters House does OUTSTANDING work and though I'm not a Pacific Islander I STRONGLY support their message and plan.
Missing from today was Melissa. Hoping all is okay with her and family.
GREAT SHOW AS ALWAYS. Time was filled with great, fun, serious content throughout.
