Today in the News 7/26/2013:
Today in the News a 55 acre grass fire burned along the American River near Cal Expo Thursday. The UC Davis Police officer who
pepper sprayed non violent students in 2011 is seeking worker's comp. stating he was suffering from mental health issues from the emotion he had to go through after the incident. Funny it didn't bother him at the time of spraying people like a can of raid though. But these are just 2 stories I'm following Today in the News....

Final Thoughts:
The morning shows are now over so their weekends have officially begun. My58 seemed to have a far better week than Fox40. Though the 7 o'clock hour was very boring however they did step it up in the 8 when talking about the film and beer event in Davis. Fox just really missed this entire week. Yes, like My58 they had their moments but to be honest I got more entertainment from Lisa G and Mae Fasai this week alone than I did from Fox40. Perhaps it comes from their background at Good Day Sacramento who had one of the finest weeks in the show. Today was especially great with special guest Fabio. In classic Good Day Sacramento style they took it and ran with it. Cody Stark himself was a nice fill in until the arrival of Fabio but let's be honest, I had more fun watching Cody as Fabio or was he
Meatloaf but I degrees than I did watching the Fabio himself. It was great seeing Ms. Eleanor's reaction when he entered the studio but an even greater moment came when he and Cody made a stop at Starbucks. The other thing that was funny to see was the guinea pig fashion show with Courtney. Boy, Mr. Pancake & Lucy have some explaining to do. They couldn't keep their feet off each other then Lucy stripping out of her dress on live TV. Apparently she did not get the memo this was a family show.
It was a great week and will be an even better weekend. Coming up will be Good Day Sacramento Weekend edition, Mark at the Movies and my exclusive behind the scenes of a National show. Stay tuned and remember Today in the News. By the way you can now follow on twitter @norcalnewsblog
Have a great weekend and I will see you tomorrow for part 1 of the weekend edition.
