Today in the News 7/1/2013:

Final Thoughts:
The stories of the day held true to my predictions as far as the weather & loss of firefighters in Arizona. However the story that broke in
our area overnight was Bay Area Regional Transit aka BART going on strike sending normal riders scrambling to find other ways to work and causing traffic nightmares throughout the Bay Area.
Fox continues to not provide info on their cooking guests.
My 58 had a lot of news that was informative but still boring. However Lisa G had fun with Crystal Ice Cream.
Melissa's reports from Jimboys and Grocery Outlets provided the comedy relief of the day. I've never seen anyone get so excited about spending / saving money than she does. I love her out pouring enthusiasm she has. Marianne, Tina both off today meant for a slow Facebook posting day in addition to not having a 5am question. Still in my opinion Good Day Sacramento wins the ratings again.
Back tomorrow for more News, weather, traffic fun.
