Mark and the Mark at the Movies Crew has your Entourage Movie Minute. Upper Kutz Barber is having a BBQ for a cause today. Nha is checking out Farm to Fork Bubbles and Berries Brunch. Purple Heart Vets get to go fishing and so much more on this June 7th edition of Summer Fun With Cody Melissa & Crew Today in the News.... 
 
 
 
Cambi:
Cambi started her day with the Purple Heart Anglers as they got set to take Vets out Fishing on Folsom Lake. Cambi was at Leatherby's on Arden Way talking with Dave Leatherby about Chocolate Ice Cream Day and the memories Leatherby's has. Cambi then went to the Upper Kutz BBQ and Chill Cook Off for a cause. Cambi finished her day at a party, of course she did but it was Bubbles and Berries Brunch for Farm to Fork. 
 
 
 
Heather:
Heather was checking out the Stockton Jewish Festival. Lodi Cycle Fest is taking place today in Downtown Lodi and Heather was checking it out. Heather was then at Tokay HS for a Swim Clinic. Heather was at Lincoln Center checking out Summer Fashion Trends
 
 
 
Nha:
Nha was downtown checking out the 11th Annual Women's Fitness Run. Nha was back at the newly reopened Sonic Drive Thru that is under new ownership. Nha was at Klipper Kings a New Barber Shop in North Highlands. Nha was checking out Sacramento Cyclefest. 
 
 
 
Cody/Melissa:
Cody and Melissa talked with Colin Furze who made a knife toaster. Colin is AWESOME!!! Realtor Chad Herron stopped by to talk about homes of NBA Stars. Cody introduced us to Rebel Punk Band. Will they take the Soft Kitty Challenge. Cody was learning Spikeball from the pros before he took on Melissa in a match. Melissa was in the Kitchen with Kayla from Evan's Kitchen talking about a special event next weekend for a special 6 course meal with a Taste of France. Melissa learned to make a Creme Brulee.  
 
 
 
Lori:
Lori was showing Summer Care Products. Father's Day gift ideas and had Hot Headlines. 
 
 
 
Quick Thought:
It was a great June Weekend day and a great way to start the day with Cody, Melissa, Lori, Cambi, Nha, Heather and the Weekend crew. I am so happy KBCW is now a part of the show for 3 hours not just 2. (Now 8-11a) 
 
 
 
Cambi started her day with some Vets as they went Fishing with Purple Heart Anglers then she got to check out Leatherby's Ice Cream for National Chocolate Day before getting BBQ for a cause and finishing up with Brunch for Farm to Fork. I love seeing Veterans getting out and being to do things. I bet they have stories that would never get old. 
 
 
 
Nha got a lot of fun assignments today first with a Women's Fitness Run then to Sonic's in Roseville where the manager alledge she ate most of the tater tots. Unconfirmed. I saw her eat 1 or 2. Then she got to check out a new Hair spot where they do Straight Razor Shaves before heading to Sacramento Cyclefest. My favorite story from Nha was the Sonic Drive Thru back open. 
 
 
 
In 2 days Heather covered 2 swim stories this one was more for advanced kids looking to get better for competition. She checked out the Jewish Fest and want shopping and to the Lodi CycleFest. Heather always makes her live shots pretty awesome like she did at the Jewish Festival. 
 
 
 
I love when Lori shows off cool products some of the summer products shown are great gift ideas for Birthdays 
 
 
 
It's been awhile but Cody finally brought back the Soft Kitty Challenge with the band today. Rebel Punk did a very nice job with their songs. Plus anytime you can get Evan's Kitchen and Kayla to make Creme Brulee that is okay by me.

Roseville Spikeball Summer Classic
Today on Good Day Cody took on Melissa in Spikeball but before that Cody found out what Spikeball was As seen on the hit show Shark Tank, Spikeball has made its way to Roseville! What is Spikeball you ask? Spikeball is a team sport played by two teams of two players. Opposing teams line up across from each other with the Spikeball net in the center. The ball is put in play with a serve-a hit by the server from behind the service boundary into the net to an opposing player.

The first weekend of June is now in the books and my favorite stories of today were first the 3 staples of Sunday Mark's Movie Minute, Ask Eleanor and Dishin With Tina. My other favorite stories were Cambi with Purple Heart Anglers, Cambi at Leatherby's. Nha checking out the newly reopened Sonic in Roseville, and the Women's Fitness Run where about 3000 women came out for the run. Heather at the Jewish Festival and Lodi Cyclefest. Loved some of the products Lori showed in her Summer Product preview. Some great gift ideas. Melissa with Evans Kitchen Cody getting Rebel Punk to perform Soft Kitty and Cody and Melissa with Colin Furze and his Knife Toaster and of course all the people who work hard each day at Good Day. Oh and the GREAT News is KBCW now on 8-11am so they added an hour. Now we just need that 4th hour to complete the cycle. See you at 430a Tomorrow.
