Today's Recap:
Saturday, June 13th It's going to be another hot one in the Sacramento area so what better way to beat the heat than to tune into Good Day Sacramento. It's another jammed packed show that includes Wildlife Care Association planting 21 trees.  A Soldier's Child Dot Org is hosting a large event for kids at Walmart. Tina is back from her few days off and is taking us to lunch at Orchid Thai in Sacramento. Phoebe aka The Dress Fiend is back with some great fashion and for the first time since February the Frosting Queens are in studio. One thing I will tell you is Coupon Corner is on Summer Break and should return in the fall. Tina:
Tina planted a Good Day Tree in McCLellan Park with the Wildlife Care Association. Tina then headed to WalMart where A Soldier's Child Dot Org is giving back to kids who lost parents while serving in the Military. Tina loves new places and today she found out what's for lunch at Orchid Thai new to the area. 



Nha:
Nha started out at the McClatchy Farmers Market where she met up with Dave's Pops who makes Ice Cream without the cream. Today is National Marina Day and Nha was checking out the swap meet with Pirates and more . The leading cause of death in teens is vehicle accidents. Nha was at a Stay Safe event where kids are learning to drive and how to handle situations. 



Heather:
Heather was in Stockton at Discover a Dinosaur taking place at Stockton Arena. Heather was with Bambi Gypsy Cowgirl Kitchen learning to can salsa. Heather was checking out the American Graffiti Festival and Car show where she talked with 2 stars of the movie. 



Cody/Melissa:
Get your tweets made in comic form? Now you can with Twitter Comics Cody and Melissa talked with Ken about his work. Gluten Free diets are very popular and today a Gluten Free event took place at Whole Foods. Melissa got a preview of the event in the Good Day Kitchen. Cody met Murphy who was in the Up Dog House from last weeks Doggy Dash. Melissa was learning about Summer Do's and Don'ts for your hair from Hair Stylist Evonne Mariscal. Phoebe The Dress Fiend showed Melissa some great clothes for kids and adults perfect for Summer on the cheap. Thrift Town is a GREAT place to find kids clothes. A Vegan Bake Sale is taking place today at Embassy Suites and Cody and Melissa got a preview of the event. Korean Tigers Martial Arts Demo team will blow your mind. They're incredible. 



Lori:
Lori was with the Frosting Queens previewing their Father's Day Cake and Frosting.  Lori had Hot Headlines.

Today on Good Day Tina was with  A Soldier’s Child DOT ORG who hosted a HUGE event at Wal-Mart where children, who have lost a parent in the military, are getting gifts delivered! The kids run from 2-18 years old and 40-50 volunteers will shop for these kids and get them 5 gifts each!
