Today's Recap:
Cambi was at the Effie Yeaw Nature Center where you can discover everything you want to know about reptiles and more. Cambi was at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral where you can come to church with your pets – furry, finned, feathered or any other “wardrobe” your animal wears to the annual Blessing of the Animals. Cambi was with Barbara checking out all things Vintage at The Treasured Home for the Harvest Party Vintage Market where each month Treasured Home hosts a vintage market, bringing new restored vintage or antique pieces into the shop.



Kevin was at IHop where they have brought back the seasonal fan favorite, Pumpkin Spice Pancakes and reimagines the craveable taste of baked apples with their first-of-its-kind culinary innovation, Apple Ring Pancakes. Now - November 13. Kevin was at Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm where they have added some new features to it. Today is National Name your Car Day so today Kevin was in Roseville seeing what people have named their cars, and if people don’t have a name for their car he helped them out.


Ericka was with the Fulton-El Camino Recreation and Park District who hosting two huge community yard sales at Howe Park. Ericka was at the Farmers Market at W X Freeway.  Ericka was at the 22nd annual Elk Grove Giant Pumpkin Festival that has already drawn BIG crowds on Saturday and should again today as it presents “The Greatest Pumpkin Show on Earth” which will include stage performances and roving entertainment by Velocity Circus Troupe. Ericka was with Major League Eating Champion Joey Chestnut at Elk Grove Pumpkin Festival before he takes part in the Pie Eating Contest. 


Tina was Dishin with L & M Liquors & Deli 8836 Greenback Ln Suite A Orangevale, CA. Tina was with Pat Baird who was in to talk about Nutrition for your kids. October is breast cancer awareness month and today Tina was joined by a local breast survivor Katherine Young to relay the top things women should know if they are faced with a breast cancer diagnosis. Katherine was the first person in the world to use a novel genomic test (Oncotype DX) to help tailor her treatment and ultimately avoid the use of chemotherapy. She is now celebrating 10 years since being cancer free and is passionate about educating women on their options when they face a breast cancer diagnosis.


Cody and Tina talked with Ty Allan Jackson from Big Head Books to encourage Reading and started a clothing line to give back to programs. Cody Introduced Rey Y Kaye to the Good Day Stage who performed songs from their newest project Good Vibes. #SunDog Video of the Week.  John Huerta’s art is NOW being featured on scratch off tickets California Lotto Plus there's a cool Dia de Los Muertos event coming up featuring John's art and a costume contest at California Museum  John joined Cody to show some art Neil, CEO of Stack Lighting joined Cody to show how the brand new high tech lighting works.

Kevin: Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm
One of our area’s most popular Fall attractions is back and in full swing. Today on Good Day Kevin was at Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm where they have added some new features to it. Bishop’s new Harvest Barn has been in the works for about 6 years and is finally open for pumpkin check-out and to create a great display for produce and really add a beautiful touch to the front of the farm. In the back of the farm Fire Pits were also added for rent on Friday and Saturday nights in October.

Tina: Start With Nutrition
Today on Good Day Tina was with Pat Baird who was in to talk about Nutrition for your kids. How well kids do in school is not just about them being gifted, or having a great tutor. Balanced nutrition is essential for proper growth and development in kids. That includes academic performance. It all starts with eating a regular, balanced breakfast. Unfortunately, 90% of kids 4 to18 years old don’t eat the recommended amount of fruit and veggies each day and eat more than the recommended amount of sodium, and consume too many empty calories, according to the Dietary Guidelines Committee.
