Today's Recap:
Melissa was at Central Park in Davis checking out the Pedal Powered carousel that helps local schools for $1 per ride and you can rent it as well. Melissa was celebrating National Donut Day at Sweet Dozen Donuts with a donut hole eating contest. Melissa was checking out some backyard pets

Nha was with an area darts champ heading to Barbados to rep Team USA. Tyler Burnett recently won a steel tip dart youth qualifier in North Carolina, landing him a spot on an elite 6-person team composed of two adult females, two adult males and one youth female and one youth male. Nha was getting a preview of the Grand Opening of the Progressive Elks Lodge Community Garden tonight 6-10pm 3630 Marysville Blvd.

Heather was learning all about organic skin care with the creator of Hundsey Organics. Heather was meeting Abe, a Maltese mix who was rescued and brought to the Stockton Animal Shelter. Upon arrival it was determined that he had lost the use of his back legs. He recently was given a set of wheels to help him get around and now he needs a special home to call his own.

Dave was at Krispy Kreme where they have teamed with Salvation Army for FREE Donut Day. The Money you save on your FREE donut you could place in the Salvation Army Red Kettle. Dave was at Folsom Prison with the male and female inmates (separately, of course!) who will spend six hours on the track in a mini Relay for life as they raise funds through donations from family and friends, and individual donations. Since it started five years ago, the inmates involved in Relay have raised more than $50,000 for the American Cancer Society.

Roqui was getting a preview of the Country Music Festival in Santa Rosa taking place Today-Sunday at Sonoma County Fairgrounds.
Julissa had today's Hollywood Headlines. Ken and Julissa talked with Ro and Mia the parents of Growing Up McGhee airing on UP TV.  Julissa was with Richard Hallmarq and Emily Payne from Project Runway getting a preview of A Fashion Extravaganza at Faces Nightclub at 9pm with Former member of Deee-Lite Lady Kier. Sac Republic president Warren Smith stopped by to remind us about Saturday’s match!! The Republic takes on rival L.A. Galaxy II! Kickoff is at 8pm at Bonney Field. Tickets are still available, but if you can’t make it, you are in luck! The match will be broadcast live on CW31!! Ju will be reporting from the sidelines.
