BREAKING NEWS: Rock Legend Lou Reed has died. My guess is god needed someone to take a walk on the wild side.
Each year you can always count on things that are certain. Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, Starbucks Pumpkin Spice and of course the Good Day Sacramento Weekend Halloween show. Today is that day. This is one of my favorite shows of the year because the cast always comes up with Great ideas. Tom Sellecks mustache, the house / balloons from Up, Elvis and Pricilla, just to name a few from anchors past. Today will be no different except it will be Melissa & Amy teaming up rather than the vacationing Cody. I can't wait to see what all of the cast & crew comes up with and you'll see it all here.... Final Thoughts:
Today on Good Day Sacramento the transitioned continued. It was the Annual Good Day Sacramento Weekend Edition Halloween Show and what a GREAT show it was. Led by Amy & Mel aka Google Maps conducted the show nicely for the vacationing Cody. Also noticeably absent this year was fan favorite Lori however fans did not leave disappointed with Kristin filling in on news island. Kristin keeping up with tradition did not dress up so people could/would take her seriously while reading news.
In past shows Alan would be the one handing out candy to all the kids in the Good Day Sacramento studio lobby but with his departure from the show earlier this year Good Day Sacramento gave us what is hoped a new tradition with Nina aka Wonder Woman & Eleanor aka Jason "Toots" Maloney aka Truck Tracker. Both ladies did a wonderful job and very gracious hosts. Not to be out done the entire cast & crew played along in costume. Christianne was the Good Witch, Kevin was a sheriff fighting zombies, Kat was a witch, Morgan was the devil with great hair, Amanda was Little Red Riding Hood, Robert in art department was a jogger and Neda was Miley Cyrus's wrecking ball.
A very SPECIAL thank you to all those who helped make today's show possible for Candy, decorations, pumpkins donated and of course the awesome viewers who make this show possible. Thank you to the entire cast & crew of Good Day Sacramento because without you we would all be bored from 7-11 on weekends.
