Monday Night Football:
In a surprising development this weeks game was much closer than anticipated. The Seattle Seahawks traveled to St. Louis to take on the Rams and despite a late surge the Seahawks held onto win 14-9. The Rams tried to go for on 4th & 2 from the goal with just 4 seconds left and failed to convert.
Final Thoughts:
Though he is not yet an icon based on the young career Andrew Luck will be an icon by the end of his playing days and today he joined Lisa G to talk oatmeal for National Oatmeal day.
Fox... I'm sorry your show today bored me more than entertained me. It felt old with Sabrina getting carpet cleaning tips and from Gary keeping the house warm tips. Lets hope you can do a better show tomorrow.
Good Day Sacramento had a couple of icons today. First Ken introduced us to Bud Anderson. Bud was a WWII fighter pilot who is being honored a with a statue in Auburn. As I said yesterday for the event Courtney shared... Tuskegee Airman Gala November 23, 2013 6-11pm Aerospace Museum 3200 Freedom Park Drive McClellan, CA Tickets $60 these iconic people we have in our lives will not be with us much longer and it is up to us and the younger people to soak up as much knowledge and write down their stories or video them so children of the future can know real history and not just from a text book.
It's the end of an era or at least a suspension of one with Pixar closing its doors to public as they prepare for an all new set of great movies.
Though she was not directly on the show today she was in thought and supplied Ken with today's Manly Minute topic Jenn B aka The Queen of Dating. Miss her and hope to see her on Good Day Sacramento soon. Thanks for the topic.
Finally the BEST ICON for last. You know him, you love him, everyone's favorite boat captain, Captain Stubbing aka Gavin Macleod joined Good Day Sacramento to talk about his tell all book about the goings on from the Love Boat. He has quite the story on Bette Davis plus he revealed his character on the show was a recovering alcoholic. Something I never new.
Ratings today 3-1.... 3. Fox... They've had way better shows than today. 2. My58... Today was very interesting with their topics. I won't say they have the best reporters reporting on them but they get the #2 spot. 1. They are number 1 in our hearts, ratings and 31 in our program Good Day Sacramento. So glad to see Tina, Ju, Audrey, Mark back.
