Today was a pretty good day in sports. The MLB had playoff baseball including the Oakland A's defeating the Detroit Tigers. The Dodgers best the Braves in 4 games while the other 2 series go to games 3 & 5. We also had Preseason NBA Kings basketball and not long ago we here in Sacramento never thought we would see this team again back in May and now we can't wait to see them.

Monday Night Football:
A funny thing happened in Atlanta last night when the NY Jets came to town and decided not to lose like they were suppose to. Geno Smith looked nothing at all like the rookie he is throwing for 199 yards 3 TD'& NO INT's. What the.... Just happened? The final score from this game was Jets 30 Falcons 28 and with that Week 5 in the NFL is over.

Final Thoughts:
As many of you know live events including TV may not always run smoothly but the professionals we have in the Sacramento area do their best to cover up mistakes so the viewing audience never sees it or if they do they quickly cover it. Such is the case on today's Good
Day Sacramento when Mark was talking of the Seafood event at Thunder Valley when a man promoting his product spoke on how they get it. NOT MORNING TV FRIENDLY. Therefore I will not repeat it but it may have made the video clip and how fast Mark covered it up by changing gears. I know my friends Courtney & Laura caught the comment as well as I did by the gentleman who spoke to Mark.
The other issue is not so much a TV mistake but a live stream on the Internet. When Good Day Sacramento live stream doesn't show or shows CBS13 instead of Good Day Sacramento people blow up Good Day Sacramento inbox as well as Facebook with complaints. I'm not sure the cause of this but I know it makes viewers frustrated not getting their Good Day Sacramento fix each day.
My58 was blasted yesterday for being boring. Today was 75% better with the content they had. Fox however took a step back from yesterday though I enjoyed the pumpkin making ideas from Triad Fabric.  in my opinion but they still won my #2 ratings slot with My58 in 3rd and Good Day Sacramento #1. How could they not be with Mark riding a bike to Thunder Valley, Ken at the BIG BBQ outback. The usual cast of characters Amy from a pumpkin patch. Who knew so there was so many types of pumpkins, Courtney being Court, Ju, Laura, Marianne and almost birthday girl Tina.
Cody is back tomorrow, we are also Dishin With Tina and so much more tomorrow on Good Day Sacramento.
