Sheldon Huskies took on Rosemont Wolverines. Jeffery Salerno honored before the game as he was badly insured in a vehicle accident prior to the season starting and is unable to play this year. Welcome back #79. Good luck in your recovery.
After the first quarter Sheldon led 12-6. Both teams missed extra points & Sheldon missed a 2 point conversion on their second score.
At the half Rosemont leads Sheldon 19-12. Penalties & mistakes are hurting Sheldon but the Wolverine defense is confusing Merker.
Despite Sheldon scoring 2 TD's they again missed a 2 point conversion and trailed 27-25 at the end of the 3rd.
After a hard fought game Sheldon dropped their first game of the year to Rosemont 41-36. Sheldon looked very undisciplined taking stupid penalties and unable to cover kicks setting up excellent field position for Rosemont at times.

It was a fun 4 hours today. In addition to the Twitter-a-thon fun Neda was back from Reno filling in for the vacationing Melissa. I really enjoyed the show but based on viewer comments it was Twitter overload but I enjoyed it for the record.

Opening Statement:
Yesterday I attended an open house event who had a couple of guest speakers. The first speaker Harry Ardennes shared his story of landing on the beaches of Normandy on D-Day 1944. This very special story brought chills. His account of the events that day gave myself & others in attendance Goosebumps. He is currently working on a book and I'm am hoping he can join Good Day Sacramento to talk about it when it is complete. He eventually was assigned under Patton and his unit single handily captured 20,000 German Troops. When with Russian soldiers it was customary to drink vodka with them. The second speaker, Andy Nielson of King & Country Toy Soldiers talking about growing up learning from his parents & school of WWII in England and why he decided to make Toy Soldiers, how far they've come in his 30 years in business & his plan for the future. All in all it was a great fun filled day but now it's time

It was a fun 4 hours today. In addition to the Twitter-a-thon fun Neda was back from Reno filling in for the vacationing Melissa. I really enjoyed the show but based on viewer comments it was Twitter overload but I enjoyed it for the record.

Yesterday I attended an open house event who had a couple of guest speakers. The first speaker Harry Ardennes shared his story of landing on the beaches of Normandy on D-Day 1944. This very special story brought chills. His account of the events that day gave myself & others in attendance Goosebumps. He is currently working on a book and I'm am hoping he can join Good Day Sacramento to talk about it when it is complete. He eventually was assigned under Patton and his unit single handily captured 20,000 German Troops. When with Russian soldiers it was customary to drink vodka with them. The second speaker, Andy Nielson of King & Country Toy Soldiers talking about growing up learning from his parents & school of WWII in England and why he decided to make Toy Soldiers, how far they've come in his 30 years in business & his plan for the future. What a fun fast action show today. However what a jerk the guy was to Mel at the Folsom Peddlers fair. Here's a tip for that guy when your on live TV and trying to sell producer don't be a JERK! I have others words I'd like to use but I'll keep it professional. Loved seeing Nina & Eleanor as well. How cool was Heather filling in for Alan today. I thought she did great on her first solo live shot.
