Never Forget 911....Today in The News 9/11/2013:
Opening Statement:
It was a normal Monday as America prepared for the first Monday Night football game of the year between the NY Giants & the Denver Broncos. It was a rainy night with bad storms here in California. When the game was over around 9pm/12pm the East much of America went to bed knowing the Giants fell 31-20 but on Tuesday at 846am EST nobody cared what the score was. As a busy workday was ahead for all of us our lives changed on Tuesday September 11, 2001. What was thought to be a horrible accident it was quickly realized this was no accident after 2 planes flew into the World Trade Center. Then the Pentagon and finally one into a Pennsylvania field after heroes took the matter into their own hands knowing full well they would be taking their last breaths. Then President Bush was told
of the news while visiting a Florida school. Though we are 12 years removed from this horrible day we will NEVER FORGET THOSE WE LOST! Those we lost in New York, Washington DC, Pennsylvania, Iraq, and Afghanistan, Benghazi we PROMISE TO NEVER FORGET YOU. All of you will forever remain in our hearts & our minds. Today is your day to remember, reflect & share. Today in the News.....

Final Thoughts:
Today is the day we remember those lost on this day in 2001 & again on this day in 2012. It is not about political debate, economy, love or hate of our current or past President. Today we honor the fallen, the families and friends of the fallen. Firefighters, Police, Doctors, Nurses, all First Responders, all Military those currently fighting for our freedoms, those who have returned home and those who
we lost defending our country after we were attacked. But we also stand by everyone who lost a brother, sister, mother, father, uncle, aunt, grandparent, child. This day is to remember you and give you Praise as all of you look down from heaven upon us. We will NEVER FORGET!
A friend of mine who plays professional football for the Buffalo Bills said it best as to what athletes feel on this day...... Stevie Johnson said: A day to remember #September11 #NeverForget Salute our troops, service men & women here and abroad, and 1st responders everywhere. We are celebrated for catching TDs and going over the middle...these people go into burning building, hostile situations, places we wouldn't even consider just to protect our lives and our freedoms. They are the true heroes.
I leave you with this song from Angie Miller. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7j2W5Wmkiv8
