Kristin: This report from Friday had to be pushed to today due to breaking news.... Museum Guides Wanted. Placer County is in need of some museum guides. So Good Day asked them to bring along some of their candidates, and give them a few quick lessons and they performed a 30 second tour at different exhibits in the Gold Country Museum.

Today was a light day on the shows today plus unexpected rain/Thunder showers moved into the area and when that happens its like getting 7 feet of snow in an hour and becomes breaking news with news. Yes of course Good Day Sacramento has the most fun with it by showing video & photos from viewers around the area. But My58 had a reporter get caught in a downpour during his report from the river banned which in dry dull humor for them made for a funny moment.
Much of the top anchor teams had the day off except on My58 they only had Lisa G missing. Paul & Bethany off for fox had Zohreen & Derek fill in & Ju and Courtney held down the Good Day Sacramento desk with Marianne & Ken off. Audrey took care of the news while Amy & Ju held down the weather. Mark was at the desk for first & last hour of the show as well.
One story Good Day Sacramento was unable to get to was Nutty Chicks show off their granola.
