Today in the News 8/8/2013:
Opening Statement:
I'm really bothered by the story of the Modesto Kinder Care who first lost a kid (2) when crawled through a small hole of a fence but then they don't notice he was gone for 15 minutes & it takes them another 15 to search. Luckily a man saw this little boy. Took control of him, called the police and it all has a happy ending but to top it, Kinder Care never called the mother until they found the child. Oh by the way we found your kid. So if they never found him would they not have called the mom? I'm totally with the mom on this by pulling him out. This is 1 story I'm following Today in the News....

Final Thoughts:
Today was a heavy news day. It had a lot of stories that I felt needed to be noteworthy including the large fire in Banning and the
arrest made in the death of 13 year old Jessica from 2012. I felt like the shows today started to prepare for the weekend. My58 talked about the wine event and gave a boring cereal study but did show still photos of the bear on the Jet Ski.
Fox had their kitchen segment but gave no web site or address but Paul did cringe again when he talked about Brian Wilson potentially pitching against the Giants for hated rival LA Dodgers.
Good Day Sacramento had comedian/actor Keenen Ivory Wayans in studio during the 8am hour. While he is funny I felt like he really didn't want to be there. He was very reserved in his comments and body language said a lot but he did take a lot of photos with the
crew.
