What a pretty good weekend it turned out to be. The weather was great, story of kidnapped girl ended on a somewhat positive note when she was rescued, my Buffalo Bills won their first of 4 Preseason games and Good Day Sacramento Weekend was great. So

Today's shows had their share of breaking stories of 2 large fires, accidents, & power outage shutting down Thunder Valley Casino.
I wonder what all the people playing slots thought or said when the power went out because we all know some have been there all weekend long. My58 welcomed back Deidra Fitzpatrick from vacation but missed Lisa with her being off today after working long hours over the weekend to find the next group of the Sacramento Kings Dance Team and the show lacked excitement because of Lisa's
absence.
Fox40 welcomed back Bethany from her vacation but her teamed with Paul just doesn't work for me. She is young & fun and well Paul isn't.
Good Day Sacramento had a surprise guest in the weather center with Laura working on CBS13 at 10 last night and scheduled day off for Cody Stark. To start the show in the weather was Amy Carabba then at 9 when Amy & Mark teamed at the desk to host the one & only Lori Wallace graced us with her presence who worked with Audrey onCBS13 5-7am. It just made the show that much better today.
However Good Day Sacramento did have an unexplained issue. It was clear Amy & Mark tried to stall for time because something happened to Courtney's live shot for the UFITT girls. They kept teasing and stalling and could not go back to Courtney for the final Question of the Day so Amy handled it from the studio. My guess is they will Prerecord the segment and run later this week if not on
Tuesdays show. You can never predict live TV. Couple of people complained about the pole dancing act on the show saying it should not be on morning TV. Here is my take. It's an art form and takes skill & training to be able to do that and I for one enjoyed it. There was nothing sexual about it. It was just a form of art but you be the judge with the video posted above. All in all Good Day Sacramento wins my ratings followed by Fox40 and My58 in the bottom spot for the 3 stations.
