In this very busy hour Ken showed off his Garden hall. Ken has a little work to do but he got some items. Marianne's Daily List talked about Manicures at home. Mark's brother Steve was shopping for Us The Duo Rider list at Circle K. The 5am Club member was introduced. Ken gave a California Chrome update as he gets set to head to The Preakness for live reports Thursday - Saturday on Good Day and CBS13. Cambi talked to a female Waste Management driver from Stockton who works about 55 hours a week and just bought a home. Cambi will be with her all morning getting to know her and her route. Today Question of the Day was Who would be a good travel roommate. Today's Show us Yours was Bike for a live shot Amy will do later today.

6am:
In this hour Cambi got Summer tips from Waste Management. Julissa made Hummus, Salad Dressing and said to but Lemonade in Buy it or Make it. Steve continued to shop for US. Amy was checking out a cool new bike hitting town Saturday. This is a beer bike for $20 you go to 3 beer stops while peddling a bike with a designated rider who does not drink. ($25 Friday and Saturday)

7am:
Julissa with Production Assistant Allison finished her Hummus. Amy picked up the Beer Bar Bike Maker. Cambi got more tips from Cecelia from Stockton Waste Management. Mark hung out with Sea World San Diego including a Kangaroo and Tina got to hold it. Ken gave another update on California Chrome. Jason Maloney is celebrating his birthday today. Mark talked to Todd and Nina from Now 100.5 about #NowGlow.

8am:
In this hour it was pretty much the Mark S. Allen hour. First Mark got to know Lemurs from Sea World, Introduced us to Us The Duo, and gave entertainment report including the first look at Batman with Ben Affleck. Amy continued on the Beer bike. Teen's Tunes was played interrupted by the Lemurs. Courtney played part 1 of What the Heck is that - Bike edition. Today's #9amtopic was What do you talk about over coffee talk.

9am:
Michael and Carissa from Us The Duo performed more songs this hour that was guided through with Julissa, Laura, and Mark. Courtney was back with round 2 of What the Heck is That. Amy continued from the Bike Bar. One local High School student announced she would be attending Harvard. Ken's Manly Minute today talked about what could cause California Chrome to lose this weekend at The Preakness. Today is Wednesday so Tina was Dishin at Vince's in West Sacramento and this was a Jason Maloney choice. Us The Duo closed out today's show rather than a final question.

Final Thoughts:
One story that was not covered in the normal part of show but was during the news blocks was Veterans Awareness Ride
A convoy of motorcyclists representing the National Veterans Awareness Organization will be greeted at the Auburn Veterans Memorial Hall before they begin their annual pilgrimage from Auburn to Washington DC. This group, made up of both veterans and non-veteran patriots, is undertaking a ten day journey across the United States to bring awareness and recognition to our nation’s military veterans and POW/MIAs.http://www.nvao.us/ http://www.facebook.com/NVAO.US

San Diego Sea World was in studio and brought friends with them Mark got to know a porcupine, and snake but the star of the show was the baby Kangaroo. however it was the Lemurs who stole the show first by making one of the loudest noises I've ever heard then they proceeded to lick Mark's face.... ALL 3 OF THEM!!!

Today Amy hung out with the owners of the Bike Bar riding around to different bars on a custom made bike This very unique bike is very popular in Portland Oregon and the idea has made it's way down to California. How we didn't think of this already is beyond me but it is a cool idea nonetheless. However it appears you don't drink on the bike but perhaps that was only for morning TV. $20 except on Friday and Saturday then it's $25.

Courtney wanted in on this bike thing so she headed to a Natomas bike shop to play What The Heck Is That Bike edition.

Have you heard? The Preakness is this Saturday and Ken will be there live stalking err following California Chrome as he tries to win part 2 of the Triple Crown. Ken will provide live reports starting Thursday when he touches down.

I heard about them this morning. I started researching right away and as soon as I heard "Us The Duo" I could not wait to see Michael and Carissa perform on the Good Day Sacramento stage and they did not disappoint. She is beautiful and their voices are amazing. Download their songs today on iTunes.

Today is Wednesday so Tina was Dishin with Tina - Jason's choice at Vince's Restaurant in West Sacramento. No word on what next weeks edition will be.

As Jason Maloney and I celebrate our date of birth today Good Day Sacramento also said Good Day and Farewell to the captain of ship Brent Baader. Brent is retiring and will ride off into the Good Day Sacramento sunset. After the show today the cast and crew wished Brent a fond farewell and took this great family photo. Good luck Brent may your days be filled with golf, fishing or whatever your heart desires.
