The Oakland firestorm of 1991 was a large suburban wildland-urban interface conflagration that occurred on the hillsides of northern Oakland, California, and southeastern Berkeley over the weekend of October 19–20, 1991. Despite all the rain California received in the Winter of 2016/2017 the Fire Season of 2017 is STRONG! On Sunday Fires broke out all over Northern California taking out homes in it's way as winds picked up creating Red Flag Warnings.
