A New #1 At The Box Office, News About #StarWars / Box Office Report Week of 1/29/2016 - 1/31/2016
It's the final weekend of January and in this Box Office Report this week we have a New #1 with newly released Kung Fu Panda 3 with an estimated $41,000,000. With this taking over the top spot last week's #1 The Revenant (2015) slipping down to #2 with an estimated $12,400,000, That also mean Star Wars Force Awakens fell to the 3rd spot this week with an estimated $10,782,000. Which brings me to the news, according to Amazon the movie will be released on Blu-Ray on or around April 5th. Amazon told customers they will receive their copy by the 5th so long as they reserved it. So when will it be in stores? That question is yet to be answered as of this writing and once I have that I will update. Back to this week's Top 5 at the Box Office coming in at #4 with an estimated $10,327,000 The Finest Hour and Ride Along 2 round out the Top 5 with an estimated $8,345,520.
