What a GREAT Day in Good Day History. We had a lot of good stories to cover and share from Gina at Thrift Town and her Valentines Day Ideas. Two brothers giving back to the homeless, a Young painter who is so good needs her own show much like the late GREAT Bob Ross had and of course Courtney hitting the slopes was the big story of the day. I am honoring today's post to the late Marvin Simmons the former Assignment Editor of Good Day and CBS 13 who passed yesterday. I don't have much details on his passing but the one time I met him he was one of the nicest people I've ever met. Marvin will be missed by his friends and family including all those who worked with bob so many years. Bob appeared in the 2011 Low Budget Halftime wearing the Jets jersey sitting at his spot at the assignment desk. Today Courtney Goes to the Snow... Today in the News is dedicated to Marvin Simmons may he always and forever rest in peace.

Monday on Good Day Mark was cooking breakfast for Gino a nice young man who needs our help and you can help this Valentines Day. For his 13th birthday this Valentine's Day, he wants you to donate blood to kids who need it and he's holding his own drive! He was born with literally only half a heart, yet what he has seems to be 100x more than most of us! Extra From Gino's Mom: Just a few days left tell Gino's 13th Birthday Journey 4 Life Blood Drive.  We will be serving your choice of spaghetti or ravioli with a salad and Picasa bread and a water for $ 7.50.  We will also be selling two cookies $1.50 .
